State Troopers Catch Reckless Driver Going Over 100 MPH For Second Time in Same AreaSalem-News.comA 20-year old southeast Portland resident was stopped Monday morning for the second time during the last three months for driving recklessly and at speeds over 100 mph. Linn County Sheriff`s Deputies and Albany Police Officers pursued two female subjects after one escaped from the Linn County Courthouse Monday, after having her release agreement revoked by the court.
Sheriff Tim Mueller says Beyer had appeared in Linn County Circuit Court for a pre-trial hearing for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Beyer had been out of custody up to that time when the judged revoked her release agreement and set a bail amount on her.

Firefighters rescued a construction worker after the man took a serious fall Monday. It is reported that after losing his footing, the 37-year old man fell nine feet into a construction ditch at 1175 Leslie Street SE.
It happened just before 11:30 AM.

Deputies and members of the Linn County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team located a lost woman in the Willamette National Forest near Upper Calapooia Road, east of Sweet Home late Saturday.
21-year old Kimberly Jean Sloat, of Lebanon, was rescued by Search and Rescue personnel after spending two nights in heavy forested terrain near Canyon Creek. Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says their prediciment started under unusual circumstances...
