Agent Orange Studies Overlook Vietnamese Americans

The numerous studies on American veterans of the war stand in stark contrast to what little is known about the health effects of dioxin in Vietnamese living in the United States.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Agent Orange A few years ago, my father, a former naval officer in the South Vietnamese Army, developed liver cancer. The diagnosis followed decades of struggle with Hepatitis C, a viral infection he contracted through a blood transfusion during the war. A liver transplant saved his life.

More than two years since the operation, and my father’s life has been transformed from a state of “wait and see” to near normalcy, except for a daily regimen of dozens of pills.

End US Denial of Role in Vietnam`s Agent Orange Crisis

Despite the declassification of Operation Ranch Hand documents, exposing America’s use of Agent Orange, the United States has yet to accept blame or apologize for its conduct during the Vietnam War.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - America's legacy in Vietnam The goal of a current petition effort regarding Agent Orange contamination, involves obtaining a formal apology from the U.S. to Vietnam for the use of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.

A Much Needed Outreaching Hand Of Support

Today, unlike any generation in history, citizens across the country are increasingly supportive in their actions and commitments to all members of the armed forces.

This is about our giving the life-blood of help to those who have been willing to shed their own life’s blood for all of us.

Regarding The Veterans Association of Sailors of the Vietnam War stance on the petition mentioned in the article.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Image by Horst Faas In an October 05 Salem-News.com article and the description on the “We the People” petition site, the phrase "This petition can coincide with Senator Gillibrand's investigation into Agent Orange herbicide use and HR2634 VICTIMS OF AGENT ORANGE", is misleading at best.

PTSD/TBI and General/Doctor McCaffrey

Wrong, wrong, and wrong again as usual.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Barry McCaffrey I can't say that I am amused by the continuing blather erupted by Dr./Gen. Barry McCaffrey about PTSD and also drugs when he was interviewed by Mike Francis of the Oregonian 28 Sept. 2011.

He proved when he was drug czar in the White House a few years ago that he didn't know anything factual about marijuana and drug abuse and he repeated showing his ignorance in this article.

Murder and Torture, the Lasting Legacy of America

Bataan Death March, Gestapo, Russian Gulags, America Has Exceeded It All.

(CINCINNATI ) - Medal So many Americans still think torture, murder, gang rape of children is “fair and balanced” as a way of, of what? Waging war? Afghanistan is a war? Oh come now. Its an occupation, no more.

What America is doing, has been doing for a decade, is imprisoning Muslims, mostly, from around the world, on any pretense, and killing thousands of them. We may never know but as many as 200,000 people may have been systematically murdered, not just raped or tortured, very little of which involved “waterboarding.”

Trails Of Deceit

CIA Rogue Operation Cherry - This CIA activity employed Special Forces personnel who were selected for their expertise in relevant skills necessary for the conduct of BLACK TERROR and ASSASSINATION missions.

(LOS ANGELES) - Prince Norodon Sihanouk Operation Cherry was one of five CIA sponsored activities named after trees. Others included Oak and Pine. As told to me by John McCarthy, a team leader in Cherry, and as posted originally on the web site www.copvcia.com:

(I) McCarthy was the Case Officer in Saigon, of a CIA directed covert operation code named PROJECT CHERRY. The operational mission of CHERRY was a redundant, three pronged assassination team targeted against Prince NORODOM SIHANOUK, the head of state of Cambodia.

Vietnam War Memorial Wall

A generation that is still persecuted by society and law enforcement still has a wall of memories.

(CLEVELAND) - Vietnam Veterans Wall It wasn't until the movie Rambo that the majority of Americans began to realize the extent of their country's military involvement in SE Asia, or the toll it was taking on its warriors after the bullets stopped flying.

Vietnam Veterans and their families were aware, many anti-war activists had a clue, but the 'average Joe' didn't have any idea how challenging it must have been for these young men and women to leave a place like war-torn Vietnam and return to the U.S.
