One driver was cited for a right of way violation, both vehicles were totaled.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
Marion County Senior Deputy Todd Bay was headed to work Thursday afternoon when he came upon a serious motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Cordon Road NE and Swegle Road NE. It occurred at 5:34 p.m.
Medics were immediately called to treat the victims of the crash.
The driver is hospitalized with serious injuries.

An Amity-area man died Friday evening at a Portland hospital from injuries sustained in a July 24th crash along Highway 99W near McMinnville.
An elderly woman died after being knocked over by a vehicle in a parking lot. Police say there are no criminal circumstances, but they are investigating.
(TIGARD, Ore.) -
The Tigard Police Traffic Unit is investigating the death of a 90 year-old Tigard area woman. Police are working to determine if the victim died as a result of being struck while walking as a vehicle backed from a parking spot.
The incident occurred at the Tigard Towne Square shopping center located at 16200 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard on July 29th at approximately 1:45 pm.

The driver's juvenile age son was extricated by rescue crews and transported by LifeFlight with serious injuries.

Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation of Thursday afternoon's log-truck involved fatal traffic crash on Highway 47 near Stoney Point Road north of Vernonia.
According to OSP Sergeant Larry Lucas, on July 22, 2010 at approximately 1:15 p.m. a loaded log truck driven by 33-year old Joshua Schultz of Vernonia, was northbound on Highway 47 near Stoney Point Road when, for an unknown reason, it traveled off the highway.
Anyone with any information about the crash or who witnessed the crash are urged to contact Captain Jeff Kosmicki of the Newberg-Dundee Police Department.

A Monday afternoon two-car crash in Newberg has left one person dead, one critically injured and two with unknown injuries.
One person died and several were injured..

Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers from the Roseburg Area Command office are continuing the investigation into Monday morning's fatal traffic crash just west of Winston that resulted in the death of one person and serious injuries to two others.
The names of the two people from Riddle in the vehicle occupied by the victim are being released.
