Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries Sustained in Crash on I84

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - A northeast Portland man critically injured Wednesday evening after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 near 33rd Avenue died early Thursday morning at a Portland-area hospital.

Interstate 84 Critical Injury Crash

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Portland Police Bureau (PPB), is continuing the investigation into a critical injury traffic crash that occurred Wednesday evening in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 at the 33rd Avenue exit ramp.

Congested and slowing traffic were present in the eastbound lanes during the presidential motorcade's procession on the westbound side of the freeway.

Sandy Man Arrested Following Crash Into Power Pole on Highway 26 Near Welches

(WELCHES, Ore.) - A Sandy-area man was arrested Monday on several charges after the pickup he was driving on Highway 26 in the Welches area crashed through a guardrail and struck a power pole causing power lines to drop onto the highway leading to a one hour closure.

According to Oregon State Police (OSP) Trooper Tyler Bechtel, on October 18, 2010 at approximately 4:50 p.m. a 2006 Ford F150 pickup driven by Ronald Lewis Underwood, age 45, from Sandy, was eastbound on Highway 26 near milepost 39 in the right hand lane.

Serious Injury Traffic Crash Interstate 5 Northbound South Of Woodburn

The other involved unidentified vehicle has not been found

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - A 3-year old girl was seriously injured and her father and 2-year old sister received minor injuries after their vehicle collided with an unoccupied motor home Sunday afternoon northbound along Interstate 5 three miles south of Woodburn. Oregon State Police troopers from the Salem Area Command office are continuing the investigation.

Crash on I-5 Near Woodburn Sends Three to Hospital

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - Police say traffic came to a stop on Interstate 5 today following an injury crash on the northbound freeway between Brooks and Woodburn near milepost 268 led to an initial report of three lanes blocked.

OSP reports that three people were injured, they were transported from the scene by ambulance.

Highway 99W Three Vehicle Crash Involving Horse

(JUNCTION CITY, Ore.) - Two people received minor injuries Friday night during two separate traffic crashes initiated when a horse from a nearby pasture wandered onto Highway 99W south of Junction City. Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers from the Springfield Area Command office are continuing the investigation.

According to OSP Trooper April Ratliff, on October 15, 2010 at approximately 10:18 p.m. a white 1988 Pontiac driven by Jacky Lee Gentry, age 59, from Harrisburg, was southbound on Highway 99W near milepost 111 when it struck a horse on the road.

CCSO Arrests Fleeing Federal Fugitive that Crashed into Gladstone Residence

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - On Friday, October 15, 2010 at 1:16 p.m. a Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputy witnessed a Volvo moving recklessly at the intersection of SE River Road and McLoughlin Boulevard, in Gladstone.

After a high-speed pursuit was initiated by the fleeing suspect he crashed into a residence, fled the scene of the crash on foot, and was soon apprehended at gunpoint by a Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff. This suspect was later discovered to be a federal fugitive with a significant arrest warrant and criminal history.

Vehicle Crashes Through Restaurant in NW Portland

A patron of the restaurant was injured

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Portland Fire & Rescue was dispatched at 4:32 pm to 2330 NW Thurman St. where a vehicle reportedly ran into and through the Wild Wasabi restaurant.

The vehicle, a Volvo, crashed through a partial brick wall and front window of the restaurant. The restaurant's manager, who was sitting at one of the tables at the time of the crash, was hit by and pinned under the car.

Reckless Driver Causes Roll Over on Highway 26

Jeff Bowman was cited and released at the scene for Reckless Driving, an "A" misdemeanor, which carries a maximum fine of $3,710.00 and up to one year in jail.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - On October 14, 2010, at 11:20 a.m. the Beaverton Police Department received a call of a roll over crash on Highway 26, east of the 185th Avenue exit.

Witnesses said a car was entering the highway at a high rate of speed when it ran into a large truck, causing the truck to roll.
