(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Portland Fire & Rescue was dispatched at 4:32 pm to 2330 NW Thurman St. where a vehicle reportedly ran into and through the Wild Wasabi restaurant.

The vehicle, a Volvo, crashed through a partial brick wall and front window of the restaurant. The restaurant's manager, who was sitting at one of the tables at the time of the crash, was hit by and pinned under the car.

PF&R firefighters extricated the 28-year-old male from underneath the Volvo. He was then transported to Emanuel Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A patron of the restaurant was also injured in the crash and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle is still currently inside the building and firefighters remain on scene responding to this incident.
