10 Americans Killed in Five Days in Afghanistan and Iraq

Casualties escalate on both American War fronts.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Men at War 10 Americans have been killed in five days of fighting overseas. The numbers are grim as the U.S. fights in multiple war theaters with limited forces and resources.

In the winter of 2006/07 I was in Afghanistan and I observed a group of Americans who for the most part, were convinced that they were doing a lot of good for the people of Afghanistan.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Flag draped coffins The Pentagon is lifting a Bush Administration ban on media coverage of the flag-draped coffins of war casualties killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

War Reporting and Propaganda in Iraq and Afghanistan

The media takes a beating for not reporting on the positive aspects of war; it is a notion that most people who have spent time in a combat theater find ridiculous.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A friend sent an email today with a report from a London newspaper, stressing the success the United States is currently experiencing in Iraq, and speculating as to whether Obama would seek to "take credit" for the success.

The article talked about the media's obesession with death and conflict, and talked about all of the positive things like the rebuilding of schools, that the media always leaves out.

Veterans for Change Asks Congress to Step Up

The Veterans-For-Change group is also asking that the Congress take prompt action to pass the Agent Orange Equity Act of 2009.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - American soldier on patrol near Balad, Iraq The small but vocal group Veterans-for-Change released a letter this week to the Congress calling for new legislation in the 111th Congress.

Their request is based on the obvious fact that while billions may be spent on war, on bailouts, and economic stimuli, the U.S. Government cannot appropriate sufficient funding to care for Veterans and Widows of Veterans disabled by their President.

Dr. Phillip Leveque has spent his life as a Combat Infantryman, Physician, Pharmacologist and Forensic Toxicologist.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Army Security Forces on patrol in Afghanistan I presume most of my readers know that I write a lot about PTSD and the miserable record of the Army and the VA for PTSD diagnosis and treatment.

For example there is supposed to be a backlog of 300 thousand PTSD Veteran victims either waiting for service or have given up with the miserable ineffective treatment by both Army/Navy and the VA.
