There appears to be a huge difference between the federal interpretation of truth, and the reality of what is taking place.

Former Homeland Security Undersecretary, DEA Administrator and Congressman, Asa Hutchinson, contacted Salem-News.com Tuesday with a complaint over a political perspective report that I wrote March 23rd 2009.
The report was highly critical of Hutchinson for lumping marijuana into a group with drugs like "cocaine" and "methamphetamine". The problem is that we aren't supposed to compare apples and oranges.
As we have increasingly reported in recent weeks and months, the casualty rate in Afghanistan has been climbing.

In this report we offer the few details we know about three Marines and two Army soldiers who died in service to their nation; four in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
Our forces in Iraq are not out of the woods by any means, but the count has greatly traded places when it comes to the number of servicemen and women being killed in combat and in non-combat related incidents.
