Trump, You Cannot Fool All the People All of the Time

Like it or not, his ardent supporters just don’t seem to care if this POTUS is truthful.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Trump lies for the pure pleasure of it; he just can't help himself. Often his lies are difficult to fight, destructive in their effects, and almost impossible to correct if they resonate strongly enough with his true believers, which Trump’s mostly do.

His political incorrectness is what appeals to many of his supporters.

If the AHCA had passed, 14 million more people would have become uninsured next year

(SAN FRANCISCO) - The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) or ObamaCare, was signed into law on March 23, 2010. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, 20 million people are newly insured as a result of the ACA.

Since passage of the ACA, it is estimated that the Republicans have unsuccessfully tried to repeal all or part of the ACA at least 60 times.

American Escape?

(Pender Island, British Columbia) - A few years ago I had a TIA—Transient Ischemic Attack—or mini-stroke. An ambulance arrived a few minutes later and I was transported to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. (My out-of-pocket cost for this trip was $110 although I didn’t have to pay it until later.)

At the hospital a few hours later I had an MRI. I was in hospital for a total of five days. I did not have to pay anything for this—my out-of-pocket cost was $0. There was no deductible or co-pay. It’s called “universal health care”.

Failure of TrumpCare Incites Mixed Reactions

The Republican bill to repeal Obamacare has failed.

(SALEM, Ore.) - House leaders cancelled today’s vote on the American Health Care Act, or “TrumpCare,” because the bill lacks the support to pass.

"Following today’s TrumpCare failure, it’s time for Republicans to cease and desist in their plans to destroy American health care. Historical Figures Who Took a Stand

Those who make their voices heard are the ones that will help to change the future.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Throughout the course of history, there are those who stand out among the crowd for the stance they took for a certain group of people.

In their minds, they felt strongly that if their voices could make it to a platform, justice would prevail and equality would follow. Today you can find many of the original artifacts that helped to shape the country, the United States of America, including historical documents for sale.

Basil of Al-Walaja: RIP

Others will speak of his martyrdom; I will speak of his life and what he told me. Basil would have wanted it told this way.

(OCCUPIED PALESTINE) - In 2009, I met Basil and Shireen and started joining them in demonstrations in Al-Walaja village. On 6 March 2017, Basil was murdered by the Israeli army. He was 31-years old.

During the primaries and general election, Trump's assault on the media was quite successful. He ran a media campaign directly against the media, helping himself to the copious media attention available to a TV star while disparaging journalists at every podium and venue.

(OCCUPIED PALESTINE) - We in occupied Palestine continue to be guardedly optimistic even after watching the Kafkaesque political "plays" being performed to confuse the public and keep them in the dark and keep them fighting each other while the RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER.

Remember to follow the money. But what we common people need to do is refuse the baiting, join hands, and think of the environment, sustainability, hope, love, kindness to one another (while yes exposing the myths and challenging the elites).
