Beavers QB Sean Mannion Named to the Manning Award Watch List

In 2013, Mannion set the league’s single season passing record with 4,662 yards and a school-record with 37 touchdown tosses.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Sean Mannion Oregon State senior quarterback Sean Mannion was named to The Manning Award watch list Thursday.

The watch list for the Manning Award, sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl, includes 32 of the top quarterbacks in the nation heading into the 2014 season.

Oregon State to Meet Ohio State to Kick-Off 2018 Season

Ohio State has won both previous meetings in Columbus, 22-14 in 1984 and 51-10 in 1974.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State Football The Oregon State Beavers and The Ohio State Buckeyes will open the 2018 football season in Columbus, Beaver Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis announced Thursday.

The game is set for Sept. 1 of Labor Day Weekend at Ohio Stadium, the fourth-largest venue in college football with a current capacity of 104,944.

Speaking of post practice activities, Friday was also the team’s annual water balloon fight.

Oregon State Football Training Camp airs Friday at 9:00 p.m. and features interviews and analysis by hosts Mike Yam, Rick Neuheisel and Curtis Conway, the former USC wide receiver who was coached by then Trojan offensive coordinator Mike Riley.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State Football It’s only day two of fall camp and the media has focused its attention on the passing game in the early going and despite the repeated answers of head coach Mike Riley and postseason awards candidate quarterback Sean “The Machine” Mannion that sophomore flanker Victor Bolden was a big part of that answer the questions keep coming.

On Tuesday Bolden, who is a candidate for the Paul Hornung Award, showed that the potential is there to provide big plays for the Beavers.
