Man Treated for Hypothermia After Sailboat Runs Aground at Newport

Vessel is high and dry on the Oregon Coast.

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - Beached sailboat in Newport, Oregon 30 July 2010 A Bellevue, Washington man is being treated for hypothermia at a Newport-area hospital after his 38-foot sailboat drifted overnight into the surf and ended up on the beach.

One Killed, Three Injured in Head-On Crash Near Monmouth

SR 99W was closed for approximately three hours while troopers from the OSP Collision Reconstruction Unit investigated the crash.

(MONMOUTH, Ore.) - Fatal crash One person was killed and three others were injured in a two car collision on SR 99W south of Monmouth on Thursday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3rd, State Police troopers from the Salem and McMinnville Areas responded to a reported head on collision on SR 99W and Parker Rd. in Polk county.

The heavy rain on snow will cause the increased potential for debris flows from the large amounts of rain.

Eugene Police and OSP Seeking Information to Help Find Missing Eugene Man Whose Pickup was Found South of Gold Beach

(EUGENE, Ore.) - mark rees Police, are asking for the public's help to find a missing Eugene-area man whose pickup was found abandoned at a southern Oregon coast public wayside on Highway 101 about nine miles south of Gold Beach.

49-year old Mark J. Rees of Eugene, was reported missing by his ex-wife April 11, 2010 to Eugene Police Department after she learned Rees failed to pay rent to his landlord.
