Missing Teen From Salem Located

Missing person Jose Aguilar, from our earlier news release, has been located. Jose made his way back to Keizer from the Portland area and called his sister who picked him up. Jose is safe, uninjured and back with his family tonight.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 19-year old Jose Luis Aguilar of Salem is missing; he may be in the Portland area. Salem Police say a young man who was last been seen on Friday morning when he left to go to Chemeketa Community College, has been safely located.

Missing person Jose Aguilar, from our earlier story, has been located. Jose made his way back to Keizer from the Portland area and called his sister who picked him up.

Jose is safe, uninjured and back with his family tonight.

Help Find Oakridge Man Missing For Three Weeks

Any information about John Hicks' whereabouts should be called in to the Oakridge Police Dept 1-541-782-4232 or Joshua 1-541-954-0856.

(OAKRIDGE, Ore.) - Oakridge, Oregon missing person 47-year old John Wesley Hicks (aka Pee-Wee or Pete) was last seen on September 7th, 2008.

John Hicks is 5'8" with blue eyes. He has the mental capabilities of a 12 to 14 yr old child. He was last seen in the Oakridge Oregon area where he resides with his dog Bear.

A missing persons report was filed with the Oakridge Police Department on Saturday September 13th. His family says that in his entire life, he has never disappeared for a long period of time nor would he ever leave his dog Bear.

Missing Alzheimer Patient Located

The man was located after he hitched a ride to California.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 68-year old William Mefford is missing from the Salem area The Marion County Sheriff's Office has been notified that 68-year old William Mefford has been located in Cottonwood California.

According to family members who are currently with Mr. Mefford in California, Mr. Mefford hitchhiked from Salem to Cottonwood California where he grew up. Mr. Mefford was described as in good health when his family met up with him.

Sheriff`s Deputies Locate Missing 71-Year Old‏ (UPDATE)

John Ira Christiansen was located safely and is home.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - John Ira Christiansen Sheriff's deputies in Washington County say they are pleased to report that John Christiansen who was reported missing yesterday has returned home safely.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a call from a family member this morning that Mr. Christensen arrived with his vehicle at his home in Walla Walla. Deputies had Walla Walla Police Department check on the welfare of Mr. Christiansen and they confirmed he was in good health and safe.

Mr. Christiansen's whereabouts for the 14 hours he was reported missing is unknown. His wife was driven by a family member back to Walla Walla.

Greyhound with 5-Year Old Aboard Boy Leaves Mom in Behind in Roseburg

Police reunite a mother with 5-year old son after they became separated during a Greyhound Bus trip.

(ROSEBURG, Ore.) - Greyhound Oregon State Police say a 5-year old Vacaville, California boy spent some unexpected time with OSP troopers Friday after they found him at a Roseburg Greyhound bus station. The troopers say they located the boy after a report that the bus left without the boy's mother at the Grants Pass bus station.

Be Aware of Misguided and Phony AMBER Alert Text Messages

Oregon State Police say the bogus messages put children at risk.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - False Amber Alert Oregon State Police (OSP) is again receiving reports of a false Amber Alert being received by some people in the Bend and Willamette Valley areas as a text message on their cell phones. These messages are similar to those reported in April 2008 and there are no active Amber Alerts in Oregon at this time.

Numerous Oregon residents have inquired about the text message on their cell phones with an alarming message about two kidnapped girls from the Bend area reportedly with a suspect driving a brown Jeep Liberty vehicle. The message may also be asking it be sent to others.

Police Seek Homicide Suspect Out of Sacramento, California

Police in California say an armed and dangerous man is sought for a double shooting in Sacramento early this morning.

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.) - 51-year old Ronald Mitchell is wanted for a double shooting in California. The suspect who shot two people in California could be in Oregon, though police say there is no specific information suggesting that. They still want people to keep their eyes open for the subject and his vehilcle.

Sacramento, California Police say they are on the lookout for 51-year old Ronald Mitchell, wanted out of California's capitol city over a double shooting that happened at 12:50 AM this morning at 3615 43rd Street.

Mitchell is described as a black male, foot nine inches in height, who weighs approximately 210 pounds. Police say he has a violent history and is armed with a handgun.

Body Found in Sandy River Identified as Missing Teen

Clackamas County Confirms Recovered Body From Sandy River Is Drowning Victim Patrick James Cody Monteith, Age 16, From Sandy

(SANDY, Ore.) - A spokesman for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says teh county's Medical Examiners Office has confirmed that the deceased corpse recovered earlier today from the Sandy River, is in fact the missing teen who was presumed drowned in the Sandy River as a result of swimming mishap on the Sandy River in late June.

The body recovered earlier today on the Sandy River, has been positively identified by the Clackamas County Medical Examiners Office as 16-year old Patrick James Cody Monteith of Sandy, Oregon. He was a Sandy High student.

Patrick Cody disappeared around 2:12 PM, Saturday, June 28th, when he was apparently swept down the Sandy River east of Marmot. No recovery was made as a result of extensive water; ground and aerial searching conducted over a two-day period of time.

Washington County Deputies Need Citizen`s Help Locating Missing Woman

Anyone with any information concerning Hillary Smith is asked to immediately call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - 19-year old Hillary Smith The Washington County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 19-year old female from the Bethany area of unincorporated Washington County. She is reported to be developmentally delayed.

Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says this morning at 7:44 AM, Washington County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a residence in Bethany area concerning the report of a missing person. Hillary Smith was reported missing by her parents. Ms. Smith lives with her parents and uses TriMet and MAX as her primary means of transportation.
