Taliban’s Ban on Women Attending Universities a Cruel Assault on Rights

(NEW YORK, NY) - Afghan women On Tuesday, the Taliban announced a ban on women attending universities “until further notice,” a misleading use of language by the Taliban to dampen expected public and international outrage. But by now we know what that means.

Going to university has been a fragile ray of hope that many young Afghan women have been holding on to; a glimmer of hope that quickly disappeared.

Thirteen states have trigger laws that would automatically ban abortions.

(SAN FRANCISCO, CA.) - Roe v. Wade A leaked U.S. Supreme Court draft opinion in the Mississippi case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, indicates that the Court is poised to reverse the 1973 landmark decision of Roe v. Wade.
