At 3:20 PM today, Northern Illinois University issued this message to their students and faculty: "There has been a report of a possible gunman on campus. Get to a safe area and take precautions until given the all clear. Avoid the King Commons and all buildings in that vicinity."

A report of a ‘man with a gun call' in Clackamas led to a deadly police shooting Saturday night at the Twin Creek Apartments, 11500 SE Sunnyside Road, in Clackamas. The report of a domestic disturbance was received by dispatchers at approximately 11:00 PM.
