Oregon Medical Examiner Releases Autopsy Results in Police Involved Shooting

The name of the Clackamas County Sheriff's deputy directly involved in this shooting will be released later this week.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office has performed an autopsy on the armed male subject who died as a result of an armed confrontation with Clackamas County Sheriff's Patrol personnel on Saturday, February 9th, on SE 132nd Avenue, in Clackamas.

The forensic autopsy was conducted by Dr. Larry Lewman in Clackamas. The deceased is identified as 31-year old Aaron Damien Ganon.

Dr. Lewman provided this statement to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office addressing the cause of death: "Aaron Damien Ganon died as a result of two (2) gunshot wounds to the head."

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office expects to release the name of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputy directly involved in this shooting on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

They say interviews are still being coordinated with all parties involved in this inquiry.
