(CIUDAD, Juarez) - Mexico For months Ciudad Juarez´s Plural Citizens Front and other opponents of Mexican President Felipe Calderon's so-called drug war planned an international forum on violence and militarization in their battle-weary city.

Ironically, on the first day of the event, a bloody incident of the kind activists were protesting marred the meeting site at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez.

Reported Gunshot Victim in Newberg

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Shooting Investigation This morning at approximately 7:10 am officers from the Newberg-Dundee Police Department were called to a local business on a report of a gunshot victim. An investigation is underway at the business and one person is confirmed deceased.

At this time there does not appear to be nefarious circumstances but the name is not being released pending family notification. Some family is out of the immediate area so this could delay any further information.

Portland Police Make Arrest in Benson HS Shooting

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting Investigation On Sunday Portland Police officers arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the last week's shooting at Benson High School.

The investigation into the shooting began on Thursday when Portland Police officers responded to the report of a shooting at Benson High School, located at 546 Northeast 12th Avenue. As officers responded, school security immediately placed the school on lock-down. A volleyball game between Benson and Jefferson was occurring in the gym and Portland Night High School was holding classes for dozens of students.

Shooting Incident in Clakamas Under Investigation

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Shooting investigation logo Late Saturday evening at 11:51 p.m. two male adults engaged in a physical altercation in the parking lot of Jay's Bar and Grill, located at 11595 SE 82ND Avenue.

As a result of this physical altercation, a handgun was discharged by the male suspect in this case and the victim patient was shot, with a handgun, in the hip. This victim patient was transported from the scene to a local Portland area hospital conscious and breathing.

Portland Police Investigating Shooting on SE Division

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting investigation logo Early this morning at approximately 12:58 a.m., Portland Police responded to the Good Call Sports Bar & Grill on the report of four people shot.

A 28-year-old Asian male was deceased at the scene, and three others were seriously injured.

Columbia County Sheriff`s Deputies Respond To Shots Fired

(ST. HELENS, Ore.) - Officers entering the Hods Lane Property Columbia County Sheriff's deputies responding today to a shots fired call at a domestic disturbance near St. Helens took one female suspect into custody, and a male victim was transported to Emanuel Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Columbia 911 Dispatch notified the Sheriff's Office of the shooting at 10:04 a.m. Responding deputies found Daniel H. McMillen, 34, with gunshot wounds to his shoulder, face and neck and surrounded the trailer he shares with Alisha R. VanDolah 28, Hods Lane near St. Helens.

Officer Involved Shooting in Tigard

(TIGARD, Ore.) - Shooting investigation logo On Thursday, October 14, 2010 at approximately 5:30 pm, two Tigard Police Officers were completing a report while seated in their patrol vehicle. The vehicle was parked in a lot at the Washington Square Mall in Tigard near the Sears store.

The officers began to observe what appeared to be a "road-rage" incident whereby a suspect began to ram another vehicle. The officers quickly exited their patrol vehicle in efforts to contact the suspect. During their attempts, the suspect fled in his vehicle and while doing so, struck additional vehicles.

Investigation Into Early Morning Shooting is Continuing

A dark colored sedan, possibly a Honda left the scene after the shooting.

(SALEM, Oregon) - Suspect Vhicle Initial 911 calls of shots being heard in the area were received at 3:25am. As deputies arrived in the area, they received the 3:34am call of the victim being shot.

The number of shots fired has not been confirmed as of this time, but a number of bullet holes were observed in the victim's house & windows. Forensic evidence was collected at the scene.

Salem Man Injured in Early Morning Shooting (VIDEO)

Investigation of the incident is ongoing.

(SALEM, Oregon) - Shooting Investigation Salem residents in the 4000 block of Bonanza Drive NE were awakened to the sound of gunfire at approximately 3:34am this morning.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office received several 911 calls from citizens reporting the shots being fired. The exact number of rounds fired and the type of weapon used is unconfirmed at this time.
