Half a Million Americans Prepared to Take Down George Zimmerman

No law should be used to cloak racism and murder.

(SALEM) - George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin I have a feeling that the murder/racism suspect George Zimmerman is going down one way or another. This kid that he killed, was just a boy, he wasn't even 18-years old.

Trayvon Martin was an aspiring A and B student who was interested in flying, and was an athlete, from a solid family with no criminal background.

Why Trayvon Martin`s Death Should Matter to You

Anyone bold enough to talk about George Zimmerman and his rights to be presumed innocent until proven guilty needs to remember something very important. Trayvon Martin did not get the opportunity.

(SANFORD, FL) - Trayvon Martin All of the facts in the tragic case of Trayvon Martin have yet to come to the surface, but there are two important facts we do know. Trayvon Martin is dead and George Zimmerman admitted to killing a defenseless young man.

What upsets me and most rational people the most is how the case has been handled by the Sanford Police Department.

Trayvon Martin RIP As U R Not Alone

What excuses exist for what is taking place over a Black teen's tragic shooting death.

(CLEVELAND) - Trayvon Martin Trayvon Martin's story leaves Americans reaching for answers- to questions that should never have to be asked. Regional trends dictate the spirit of a community.

Florida is a U.S. state that once turned its back and broke away, to become part of a force determined to wipe out the free United States and exist within the slave-owning Confederacy.

Handguns and the Second Amendment

Republicans do not constitute “A well regulated Militia,” and armed individuals alone are not necessary to the security of our free State: the Military, National Guard, FBI, police departments and The Supreme Court have been assigned that role.

(PASO ROBLES, CA) - Handgun Hardly a day goes by that we don’t read of another killing and or wounding of family members, or others, by handguns.

In fact in Arizona, it is legal for anyone to carry a gun, and a year ago a deranged man killed several, including a judge and a child, and seriously wounded a Congresswoman.

Hate Crime For Gays But Not Blacks?

Verdicts should be rendered on the aggravated intent of the other, And not based solely on group popularity versus one’s skin color.

(CLEVELAND) - Clockwise from top left; Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman, Dharun Ravi and Tyler Clementi. Once again, Americans are challenged to confront needless death in the headlines; alleged crime and apparent lack of crime - conflicts that just fail to make sense.

A blatant shooting death goes unpunished, and a man who communicated the wrong information about another man's sexual orientation may disappear for a decade.

Letter to the Editor re: School Shooting

Tragedies like this will be avoided when people learn to criticize contempt--in ourselves and others, and make choices for respect for the world and people around us.

(RIVERDALE, NY) - Ohio school shooting victims: Danny Parmertor, Demetrius Hewlin and Russel King My heart goes out to the friends and family of the students of Chardon High School who were shot in the attack by another teenager.

As a person who worked in NYC high schools, I know how much young people need to know that the cause of such violence has been understood and can be changed.

U.S. and Mexico Military Play Increasing Role in Border Operations

Our team at Salem-News, and also Narco News, were the first to report on the activities of this joint task force.

(SALEM) - US Mexican joint military task force Robert Plumlee and I enjoy watching the national media play catch-up with our reports from years ago. The game is on again as information about the U.S./Mexican military Joint Task Force continues to emerge.

A new article in the El Paso Times illustrates the reason that officials from both countries have been hesitant to confirm the existence of this military border group; the 1997 shooting death of a young Mexican national by a U.S. Marine.
