(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon Health Authority reported 30 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 191, as of 8:00 a.m. today, with 5 known deaths.

The COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Clackamas (2), Hood River (1), Linn (1), Marion (8), Multnomah (2), Polk (2), Washington (14). Oregon Health Authority reports new cases once a day on its website.

Oregon is CLOSED: Governor Issues Stay Home Order

Failure to comply with the order will be considered an immediate danger to public health and subject to a Class C misdemeanor.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Governor Kate Brown today issued Executive Order 20-12, directing everyone in Oregon to stay at home to the maximum extent possible and adding to the list of businesses that will be temporarily closed to stem the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon.

The order is effective immediately, and remains in effect until ended by the Governor.

Two More Oregonians Die from COVID-19

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - COVID-19 has claimed two more lives in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll from this virus to three, the Oregon Health Authority reported at 8:30 a.m. today.

The cases are a 60-year-old woman in Lane County, who died on March 14, and a 71-year-old man in Washington County who died March 17.
