Colorado Gives Marijuana Dispensaries Legal Status

Governor Signs Regulations for State’s Medical Marijuana Industry.

(DENVER) - Colorado flag with marijuana Today, Colorado Governor Bill Ritter (D) signed legislation that will regulate the state’s medical marijuana dispensaries through a system of local and state licenses, but still allow individual localities to ban dispensaries.

Currently there are an estimated 1,100 medical marijuana dispensaries throughout Colorado — the most in any state other than California, which does not have statewide dispensary regulations.

Two Killed, Several Hurt in Crash on I-84 West of Baker City

Five passengers from the crash are still in Intensive Care.

(BAKER CITY) - Fatal crash Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigating a single vehicle double fatal rollover crash Thursday morning on Interstate 84 about five miles west of Baker City.

Lieutenant Gregg Hastings with OSP, says passengers were seriously injured in the crash as well in the crash that happened Thursday at approximately 5:20 a.m.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A Colorado woman named Karen Depierre says she is desperately trying to locate a friend whose last known location was Salem, Oregon.

Depierre says her friend, Jeff Dower, is 45-years old. She says she has not heard from him since June 2, 2009, and she has not been able to make contact with him since that time.

AMBER Alert Issued for 17-Year Old Colorado Girl

The suspect is 25-year old Daniel Baker, a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 124 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

(BAYFIELD, Colo.) - Victim, 17-year old Deanna Archuleta, and kidnapping suspect 25-year old Daniel Baker. The State of Colorado issued the Amber Alert Monday after a 17-year old girl was forcibly taken from her home in Bayfield, in La Plata County.

Police say the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous. They are believed to be headed to Mexico.

Amber Alert Canceled Over Missing Colorado Teen

The State of Colorado canceled the Amber Alert on Wednesday although the girl remains missing. No further information was given as to why the alert was canceled.

(PAGOSA SPRINGS, Co.) - The State of Colorado issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday morning after a 15-year old girl was apparently abducted Tuesday night in Pagosa Springs. The suspect reportedly has a criminal history and police believe they may be headed to Mexico.

Kanyon Nicely is a white female, 15 years old with black hair and brown eyes, 5' 7" and 115 pounds.

The suspect is Travis Farmer, a 20 year old white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 156 pounds with blue eyes, and black hair.
