Colorado Woman Seeks Location of Lost Friend in Salem

(SALEM, Ore.) - A Colorado woman named Karen Depierre says she is desperately trying to locate a friend whose last known location was Salem, Oregon.

Depierre says her friend, Jeff Dower, is 45-years old. She says she has not heard from him since June 2, 2009, and she has not been able to make contact with him since that time.

She believes her friend lost his belonging after his vehicle was wrecked. He has a rottweiler dog named Savahn.

"He was involved in a auto accident where his Durango and trailer were totaled and all his belongings were scattered on the road."

She continued, "I have found out that he gave the tow company the title right then and ended up walking away with only a backpack and his rottie, Savahna. As far as i know and his family knows he knows no one there and was just getting away for a minute."

Depierre says that unfortunately, her friend's phone has been off.

"I am desperatly looking for help to find him. I was going to drive up there but at that time I knew he was at a motel but now for the past four weeks or so he has not been able to find."

"I am thinking he is living on the streets with his dog. I just wish to put it out there that if any one has seen a man in his mid-40's walking around with a female rottweiler, to please contact me to let me know."

She added, "I need to know they are ok and if can get an area where they may be, I need to get there so to bring them back home. PLEASE I am begging for help with this, my heart breaks more every day in the not knowing they are ok? I am exhausting all ways to finding them. If you can help I would be so very grateful for anything."
