Car Crashes Into Portland Business Injuring One (VIDEO)

The woman who was injured was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Crash in Happy Valley, Oregon 5-13-09 An ‘elderly male driver' mistakenly accelerated instead of braking today in Happy Valley, and his car plunged into a commercial establishment doing business as Johnny's #2, located at 11322 SE 82nd Avenue, investigators say.

"Consequently, this out-of-control vehicle accelerated through the front of this establishment and injured a female working inside the premises," Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Spokesman, Detective Jim Strovink said.

Two Die in Crash on Highway 26 West of Sandy (PHOTOS)

An Eagle Creek Woman and her daughter died as a result of the crash.

(SANDY, Ore.) - Fatal Crash Investigation Oregon State Police troopers and Clackamas County interagency crash investigation team, are investigating a fatal crash that happened Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 26 and the east end of SE Orient Drive.

State troopers say the Saturday afternoon two-vehicle traffic crash resulted in the death of an Eagle Creek mother and her daughter, and non-life threatening injuries to a third person.

One Person Remains Missing in the Clackamas River After Rescue

Clackamas officials say two people were rescued.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Oregon river A report of a man in the Clackamas River having difficulty came in this afternoon at 4:50 p.m., Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas Sheriff said.

Witnesses reportedly saw a person floating into the area of the rapids and not coming up, near the walking bridge between Gladstone and Oregon City.

Clackamas County Raids See Five Arrested For Drug Dealing

A total of 16 law-enforcement personnel participated in the execution of the two warrants.

(OREGON CITY) - Handcuffs The Clackamas County Inter-agency Task Force (CCITF) arrested five individuals Wednesday who are believed to bhe responsible for extensive drug-dealing activity in the Oregon City area.

Jim Strovink, Detective with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says just after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, CCITF members, accompanied by Oregon City Police, simultaneously executed search warrants at two residences in Oregon City.

Investigators Identify Victim in Fatal Oak Grove Shooting

The deceased is identified as 28-year old Joseph Patrick Haley.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies were called out over a reported shooting this morning at 10:43 a.m.

They were told the shooting that just occurred inside a Willow Creek Apartment, located at 3644 SE Westview, in the Oak Grove neighborhood just south of the City of Milwaukie.

Clackamas County Grand Jury exonerates deputies in March 4th fatal shooting.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Police shooting update The Clackamas County District Attorneys Office says a Grand Jury has exonerated two Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies involved in the fatal shooting of a 68-year old Canby man March 4th.

Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney, John Wentworth, says Clackamas Deputy Brian Lister and Deputy Jesse Ashby, were cleared of any criminal wrong doing in the fatal shooting of 68-year old Hubert Henkel.

One Person Dies as Police Arrest Senior Citizen on Marijuana Charges

Deputies have not yet named the deceased person.

(MULINO, Ore.) - Salem-News.com The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating an officer involved shooting on South Macksburg Road in Mulino, Oregon.

Shots were fired, one person was found dead and an 80-year old woman was arrested on pot charges.

Bank Robbery Suspect Captured After Police Chase

Police say that after a car chase, suspect fled on foot but was quickly captured.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 51-year old Ronald William Henning II On Tuesday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m., employees of the Clackamas County Bank located at 2482 SE Burnside Rd called 911 indicating the bank was being robbed.

The robber was described as a 6'2 thin white male, wearing a motorcycle helmet and brandishing a gun. The suspect reportedly took an undisclosed amount of money.

Their emphasis was on the polychlorinated Biphenyls which was just one of some highly toxic substances. They also referred, in passing, that lower downstream was a severely toxic section of river. That should have been included in the story!
