Road Construction Worker Killed in Beaverton (UPDATE)

Police say the victim was killed on the job by a dumptruck.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Death investigation 51-year old John Thomas Sparks, a road construction worker, was killed this afternoon in a work-related accident on SW 173rd near SW Walker Road in Beaverton at 3:47 p.m.

"Officers arrived to learn that a road construction worker was killed when one of the dump trucks involved in the repaving backed over him. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene."

TVF&R Responds to Fatal Fire in Beaverton (PHOTOS)

The victim has not been identified. A Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue investigator is working to determine the cause of the fire.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Fatal fire in Beaverton, Oregon Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue aggressively attacked a mobile home fire in Beaverton that was threatening to spread to surrounding structures early this morning. Although firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly, firefighters discovered one person inside the home who was deceased.

Firefighters were called to the Mobile Home Corral at 3737 SW 117th Avenue in Beaverton at 3:45 this morning. The first arriving engine found a mobile home fully involved in flames.

Three Arrested in Beaverton Murder

The victim, 18-year old Alex Hernandez, died late Tuesday, as a result of the injuries sustained during his attack.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Counterclockwise from top left: 23-year old Nicholas Josue Sias, 22-year old Duane Everett Corbett and 18-year old Maciel Munoz Beaverton Police were called to the report of a stabbing on SW Hall Boulevard near SW Colony Lane August 31, 2009. Three suspects had reportedly attacked an 18-year old male with a knife.

Beaverton Police Seek Missing Person

It's unknown where Mrs. Moeller may have driven to; all the likely spots have been checked.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 50-year old Jill Arlene Moeller On Monday, August 17th, at 9:00 am the Beaverton Police Department received a call of a missing woman. Mr. Steven Moeller reported that his wife, 50-year old Jill Arlene Moeller, had left for work at 7:30 am but never arrived. As of this morning at 8:45 a.m. she still has not been heard from.

Mrs. Moeller is on medication for depression and mild symptoms of dementia. She does not have access to her medication, except at home.

86-Year Old Beaverton Man Reported Missing

The Beaverton Police Department is asking anyone who sees Mr. Nordness or his car to call 911.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 84 year old Elmer Wallace Nordness is known as The Beaverton Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 84 year old Elmer Wallace Nordness: "Wally" to his friends and family. He was last seen at this evening at approximately 8:30 pm.

Mr. Nordness has taken his car and is believed to be driving around the Beaverton area. His car is described as a light tan, four door 1993 Buick LaSabre with Oregon license plate ZLG860.

Beaverton Police Seek Wanted Molestation Suspect

Philip Riley is a white male, 5’11” tall and 125 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. Riley fled with a substantial amount of cash and his passport, leaving his cell phone, credit cards and vehicles behind.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - 67-year old Philip Leland Riley Beaverton Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, are asking for your help in finding a wanted person.

Det. Mike Purdy with Beaverton Police, says 67-year old Philip Leland Riley molested a boy at a local health club and is facing a lengthy sentence for this crime.

Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Robbery and Beating of Beaverton Woman

(TIGARD, Ore.) - Composite sketch of a suspect who robbed and beat a woman in Tigard, Oregon 6-22-09 Tigard Police Investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect who robbed and beat a woman in Tigard Monday morning. The incident occurred in a medical plaza parking structure located at 13240 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard.

Jim Wolf, Public Information Officer with the Tigard Police Department, says the 42-year old Beaverton woman was hospitalized overnight Monday as result of injuries sustained from her attacker.

She handled herself very appropriately and knew how to handle the situation. The end result was a text book happy ending.

Police Arrest Florida Woman in Oregon on Kidnapping Charge

Florida woman'a arrest in Oregon related to the kidnapping of her son‏.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Handcuffs Beaverton Police say they received information this morning at 8:15 a.m. from a Florida agency stating they believed a woman they were seeking on a nationwide warrant had been located in the Beaverton area.

Detective Pam Yazzolino with Beaverton P.D. says a new break would ultimately be just what the Florida authorities were looking for.
