New Year`s Eve Assault Suspect Convicted on Attempted Murder

A man who slashed and cut his girlfriend's face with a pocket knife is convicted on all charges.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Rodolfo Hernandez Cruz Rodolfo Hernandez Cruz was accused of a viscous assault on his girlfriend in a fit of jealousy on New Year's Eve 2009. He has since been convicted of his crimes and is awaiting sentencing.

Beaverton Police explain that on January 1st 2009 at 5:14 a.m. they received a call from residents at the Conestoga Park Apartments reporting an assault occurring now, with a weapon. They explained that a man was attacking a woman with a knife.

Beaverton‏ Bar Fight Lands Seven in Jail

The fight started when a man's wife who was singing karaoke, was insulted and slapped on the rear by another patron.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Clockwise from top left: Wilson Rivas, Javier Abarca, Juan Zambranos and Miguel Hernandez Deputies in Washington County were called to the Azteca Restaurant in Beaverton early this morning on a fight involving patrons and security. Seven people were arrested and two were taken to area hospitals, according to Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. David Thompson.

He says that the report came in at 2:19 a.m. about a large group of people fighting at the Azteca restaurant on SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway.

Beaverton Man Dies in Car Crash That Injures Two Others

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Fatal MVA Portland,Oregon 4-18-09 Washington County Sheriff's deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on NW West Union Road west of NW 185th Avenue this morning at 2:34 a.m.

The initial investigation according to Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, revealed that a 1989 Jeep Cherokee driven by 26 year-old Chad Saviers of Beaverton, crashed while it was Westbound on West Union Road.

Elmer`s Pancake House in Beaverton Robbed at Gun Point (VIDEO)

After robbing the business, the suspect fled on foot, and was gone before police arrived.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Armed Robbery in Beaverton Oregon 2-19-09 An armed robbery suspect was captured on cameras today at Elmer's Pancake House on NW Waterhouse Avenue in Beaverton. Detective Pam Yazzolino with Beaverton Police, says just before 7:30 a.m., a lone male who was armed, walked into the video poker area from an outside door.

"He displayed a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied, giving the man an undisclosed amount of cash."

Mr. Atie lives on SW Crestmoor Drive in Beaverton.

Beaverton PD Says Burglary Suspects Were Caught in the Act (PHOTOS)

Both subjects are from the Beaverton area and are being charged with: 1st-degree Burglary, 1st-degree Theft, Unlawful Entry to a Motor Vehicle,Interfering with Police, and 2nd-degree Criminal Trespass.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 19-year old John Jacob Barry Beaverton Police say they nabbed two suspects during a burglary this morning. One suspect remains at large at this time.

Beaverton PD received a call of a burglary in progress at 12975 SW 19th Street, Beaverton early this morning at 4:13 AM.

The caller said she'd heard the sound of the front door opening, which was believed to have possibly been left unlocked, and noises downstairs, according to Detective Pam Yazzolino with Beaverton Police, who says the woman also knew the family of five were all already home and asleep.
