(SAN ANTONIO) - Trailing 60-51 with 2:12 left in regulation, the University of Kansas men's basketball team mounted a comeback that will go down as one of the most memorable in KU history to win the 2008 NCAA Division I National Championship Monday in the Alamodome.
In overtime, Kansas defeated Memphis 75-68 for its fifth national title in school history.

(BLUE RIVER, Ore. ) - Freshman Emily Stupfel (Salem, Ore.) aced the 158-yard par 3 eighth hole for her first-ever hole-in-one, as Corban's men's and women's golf teams opened the Cascade Collegiate Conference Qualifier #4 Monday at Tokatee Golf Course.
Playing in the final conference tournament of the regular season, Corban went head-to-head with fellow conference members Concordia, The College of Idaho, and Northwest Christian.

Chris Douglas-Roberts leads the Tigers with 13 points, while Memphis super-freshman Derrick Rose is having an off-night so far with 3 points, but does have 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Craig Robinson, who led Brown University to a school record 19 victories this past season, has been selected as the 20th head coach to lead the Oregon State University men’s basketball program, Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis announced on Monday.
In two years at Brown, Robinson led a turnaround for the Bears program, guiding the squad to a school-record 19 victories. The second-year Brown coach also led the Bears to their fourth ever post-season tournament berth, competing in the inaugural College Basketball Invitational. Robinson succeeds Jay John, who went 72-97 in five-plus seasons with the Beavers.

In Sunday's first game, Willamette trailed 6-2 after 4 1/2 innings, but the Bearcats rallied with seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn the win.

(BERKELEY, Calif. ) - Jorge Reyes threw a strong 6 2/3 innings, scattering five hits and two runs, and Drew George tied a season-high with four hits as Oregon State took the series finale from No. 7 California, 9-2, Sunday afternoon at Evans Diamond.
Reyes needed just 85 pitches to get through 6 2/3 innings, which tied for his second-longest start of the season. He allowed five hits and two runs – one earned – while striking out five and walking just one.
