Oregon Men's Golf Tied For Third After First Day At Cabo Collegiate

(CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico) - The Oregon State men’s golf team is tied for third place after the first day of play at the Cabo Collegiate at the Querencia Los Cabos Golf Club.

Oregon Tech Blanks Beacons 2-0

The Owls out-shot the Beacons 25-10 and had a slight edge in shot on goal at 11-7.

(KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.) - The Oregon Tech women’s soccer team improved 2-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win over visiting Northwest Christian University on Trevor Derrah Field at Steen Sports Park. Oregon Tech moved to 7-3-0 on the season. The Beacons slip to 2-6-1 and 0-2 in CCC play.

Leo Castillo (Jr., Parkdale, OR/Hood River Valley HS) led Willamette by placing 20th among 239 runners in the Men's Cardinal 8K Race.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The Willamette University women's soccer team defeated Whitman College, 2-0, on Saturday, Oct. 2. Willamette improved to 4-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the Northwest Conference. Whitman fell to 4-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the NWC.

Freshman Sabine Wetzel (MF, Martinez, CA/Campolindo HS) scored early for Willamette. Wetzel scored on a header in the 10th minute. She was assisted by Alex Batzer (Sr., F, Medford, OR/North Medford HS). The goal was the second of Wetzel's career.
