Willamette improved to 4-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the Northwest Conference. Whitman fell to 4-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the NWC.
Freshman Sabine Wetzel (MF, Martinez, CA/Campolindo HS) scored early for Willamette. Wetzel scored on a header in the 10th minute. She was assisted by Alex Batzer (Sr., F, Medford, OR/North Medford HS). The goal was the second of Wetzel's career. Read Full Article
