(NAMPA, Idaho) - Western Oregon's seven-match winning streak and possibly their share of first place in the conference came to an abrupt halt on Thursday night in Nampa, Idaho, as Northwest Nazarene rolled to 30-14, 30-18, 30-26 sweep of the Wolves at the Montgomery Fieldhouse.
The No. 9 Pacific Region ranked Crusaders dominated the No. 6 Wolves, hittinng .342 on the night while holding the Wolves to a .077 hitting percentage.

(SEATTLE) - No. 7 Oregon faces a tough test this weekend when the Ducks head north to take on Pac-10 rival Washington at Husky Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. and will be televised live on FSN.
The Ducks have lost three regulars on offense the last four weeks due to injury. SR WR Cameron Colvin (ankle), JR RB Jeremiah Johnson (knee) and SR WR Brian Paysinger (knee) combined for 11 of UO’s 34 TDs to date (32 percent). UO’s last win at Husky Stadium came in 1997.

With 63 seconds remaining in the first half, Corban got on the board when senior Quinn Neely sent a crossing pass into the box that Cascade's keeper attempted to punch out but Louvier got his head on the ball.

(SACRAMENTO, Calif. ) - Sacramento Kings player Justin Williams is under suspicion for sexually assaulted a woman who is described as an acquaintance, a Sacramento Police Department spokesman said Thursday.
News sources report that Williams has been placed on leave for an indefinite period. He is now obtaining a lawyer to handle his defense. It is not clear if would or not Williams will be suspended from the team.

(NEW YORK) - Joe Torre, who guided the Yankees to four world championships and six pennants while making the postseason in every one of his 12 seasons at the helm, ended his tenure as manager on Thursday when he turned down a one-year contract offer, the team announced.
Torre declined a contract that would have paid him a base salary of $5 million, with $1 million bonuses for each level of the postseason the Yankees reached next season. Those bonuses would have meant that Torre could have earned as much as $8 million in 2008.
