(EUGENE, Ore. ) - Oregon has thrust itself into the heart of national title race.
Dennis Dixon threw four touchdown passes before leaving with an injury, and the fourth-ranked Ducks defeated No. 6 Arizona State 35-23 on Saturday, their second consecutive victory over a Top 10 team. Dixon completed 13-of-22 passes for 189 yards and four touchdowns, and he also ran for 57 yards.

(LAWRENCE, Kan.) - Sophomore quarterback Todd Reesing threw a school-record six touchdown passes and had 354 yards through the air, while senior fullback Brandon McAnderson gained 125 yards on the ground and four touchdowns as No. 8 Kansas beat Nebraska, 76-39 in its annual homecoming game at Memorial Stadium Saturday.
Reesing set school records for touchdown passes in a game (six) and in a single-season (23). Four of his TD passes came in the first half to four different receivers.

Oregon began its comeback in the 35th minute when freshman Jill Jensen scored from point-blank range on assists by Dani Oster and Teresa Bowns to cut the lead to 2-1.
