SALEM, Ore. - Willamette University Saturday sports wrap from Salem-News.com.

Football:

Willamette University football head coach Mark Speckman will be one of three coaches featured this weekend on the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Spotlight on ABC-TV. The 30-minute show will air on Saturday and will be shown at 4 p.m. (PDT) on KATU-TV in Portland. The Bearcats (3-5 overall, 2-2 NWC) head to Portland for a showdown Saturday afternoon with Lewis & Clark (0-7 overall, 0-4 NWC). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Women's Soccer:

Willamette University scored three goals in the second half to rally from a 1-0 halftime deficit and defeat Pacific University, 3-1, in a Northwest Conference women's soccer game at Lincoln Park Stadium on Friday.

Kelsey Rogel scored the tying goal just over five minutes into the second half and Alex Batzer tallied the go-ahead goal with 7:47 left in the game. Lauren Miller added an insurance goal at 87:53.

The Bearcats improved to 7-9-2 overall, including 6-7-1 in the NWC. Pacific dropped to 4-14-1 overall, 2-13-0 in the NWC.

Men's Soccer:

Danny Williams scored two goals and Robin Grossman added two assists, as the Pacific University Boxers defeated the visiting Willamette University Bearcats, 3-0, in a Northwest Conference men's soccer game on Friday at Lincoln Park Stadium.

Pacific scored all three goals in the first half, as the Boxers upped their record to 8-6-2 on the season, 6-5-2 in the NWC. Willamette fell to 2-14-2 overall, 0-12-1 in the NWC.

Women's Volleyball:

Pacific University received 11 kills from Jill Peacock and 10 kills from Joanna Delanty, as the Boxers defeated Willamette University, 30-18, 30-25, 30-15, at the Pacific Athletic Center on Friday.

The Northwest Conference victory improved Pacific to 14-8 overall, 9-6 in the NWC. Willamette went to 4-21 on the season, 0-15 in the NWC.

Swimming:

Lewis & Clark College defeated Willamette University in men's and women's swimming on Friday at the Willamette Natatorium. The Pioneers won the men's competition, 100-58, and defeated WU in the women's competition, 133-68.

Both of Lewis & Clark's teams improved to 2-0 overall, 1-0 in the Northwest Conference. Willamette's teams fell to 0-1 on the season.
