Johnson claimed the Dickies 500 victory after crossing the finish line 0.944 seconds ahead of Matt Kenseth that featured a spirited battle between the Cup veterans in the closing laps.

At the age of 23, Gulbis has been at it for many years, honing and perfecting her swing and drive and placing consistently near the top. But she didn't see her first professional win until 2007 during the Evian Masters. (SALEM, Ore. ) - In her final home match as a Warrior, senior Ashley Lange recorded a career and match-high 19 kills as Corban's women's volleyball team defeated the Lady Thunderbirds of Cascade, 3-2 (30-24, 24-30, 28-30, 36-34, 15-10), Saturday inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center on Senior Recognition Night.
Along with Lange, junior Rashelle Davenport and junior Chelsea Reeher recorded 17 and 15 kills respectively. Sophomore setter Amy Thompson handed out a match-high 60 assists to go along with 25 digs.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - The Oregon women’s basketball team ended its exhibition season on Sunday, with a 73-69 victory over Love and Basketball at Mac Court, but needed an extra five minutes of overtime to do it.

(BOSTON) - Geno Hayes returned Matt Ryan's third interception for a 38-yard touchdown with 1:10 to play on Saturday night to help Florida State beat No. 2 Boston College 27-17, ending the Eagles' run at an unbeaten season and shaking up the BCS standings yet again.
With the loss by BC (8-1, 4-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), there are three unbeaten teams left in the nation - Ohio State, Kansas and Hawaii - and a handful of one-loss teams who can argue for a spot in the Bowl Championship Series title game.

(HOUSTON, Texas) - Yao Ming had 21 points and 12 rebounds and Tracy McGrady added 20 points and six assists as the Houston Rockets improved to 3-0 for the first time since the 1996-97 season with an 89-80 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.
