Dr. Leveque explains that the infamous Queen used cannabis throughout her 11 pregnancies. Many women will tell you that marijuana has no equal when it comes to suppressing morning sickness.

Jury Acquits Washington Man in Medical Marijuana Case

After nearly two years of relentless accusations and threat of jail time, it is now all a matter of history.

(PORT ORCHARD, Wash.) - Salem-News.com A Washington man who being prosecuted for marijuana in spite of the fact that he is a legal, registered medical marijuana patient in Washington, has been acquitted by a jury. His wife was also arrested in the May 2007 raid at their home, and she previously pleaded guilty over pressure from the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office in Port Orchard.

(PORT ORCHARD, Wash.) - Russ Hauge The majority of Washingtonians voted together in 1998 for the health and safety of its ill residents. Supporting the medical use of marijuana was not a hard choice for most, and the state has adjusted very well overall to bringing these sick patients into the fold.

Contrary to these ideals seems to be one particular man: Kitsap County Prosecutor Russ Hauge (pronounced howgy). His opinion of the thousands of legal medicinal use patients seems to be nothing less than disapproval.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Barack Obama The hour has arrived, and the United States has a new President. It is an amazing story to say the least, as this nation stands, united, and takes it's first step on this new day.

After attending morning worship, per the tradition set by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933, Mr. Obama met outgoing president George W Bush and the two went together to the US Capitol, where there were performances by Aretha Franklin, composer John Williams, and the US Navy Band and Marine Band.

As Barack Obama took the oath of office today, he became our 44th president and the first African-American to serve in the highest office in the land.

Bonnie King`s career is unique, she is one of the few media professionals who has extensive time in four relevant areas; radio, television, newspaper and Internet. She has been with Salem-News.com since August 2004.

Her television career began in 1988, at Lincoln City, Oregon`s cable TV station, TV 10, in dual roles as News Anchor and Sales/Promotion Director. This was a natural evolution of her journalistic aspirations, since she was first "bit by the bug" while serving as Editor in Chief of her high school yearbook for two years. She graduated from Bassist College in Portland, Oregon in 1986.

Bonnie has interviewed legends like Aaron Spelling, Hugh Miles and Peter Frampton; Nadia Komenich, the feisty Judge Mills Lane, and the stars from CHARMED, FELICITY, ROSWELL, 7TH HEAVEN and BUFFY the VAMPIRE SLAYER. Her first full length documentary, `Fallen Fortress at Cape Lookout` aired on Oregon Public Broadcasting in 1993, for which she was the Producer. She is presently working on two Oregon based historical documentaries, and is an integral force in civil and human rights causes.

Bonnie has served in a number of positions in the broadcast industry; TV Production Manager at KVWB (Las Vegas WB) and Producer/Director for the TV series "Hot Wheels in Las Vegas" (2 seasons); TV Promotion Director for KYMA (NBC), and KFBT (Ind.); Asst. Marketing Director (SUPERSHOPPER MAGAZINE); Director/Co-Host (Coast Entertainment Show); Promotion Director (KBCH/KCRF Radio); and, Newspapers In Education/Circulation Sales Manager (STATESMAN JOURNAL NEWSPAPER).

Bonnie has a depth of understanding that reaches further than just behind the scenes, and that thoroughness of her nature is demonstrated in the perseverance to correctly present each story with the wit and wisdom necessary to compel and captivate viewers.
