Operation Invade Wall Street - a Message to the Media

Message supposedly issued by Anonymous was fake, group says disregard.

Anonymous was misrepresented, group warns media to be careful.

(NEW YORK ) - Forward by Salem-News.com editor: I am surprised to still encounter people who are not familiar with Anonymous; this is a group that has as much traction as any as far as changing the ridiculous way government operates and also calling foul on the rotten business practices that reside at the core of the big apple. Now that the U.S. is having its own version of the historic Arab Spring, it is time for the powers to be to pay attention to Big Brother's most clever opponent, that is in the end simply the voice of this forgotten group called 'the people'.

However a new Anonymous statement to the media that we mistakenly published, regarding a DDOS attack set forth to take place October 10th. DDOS information is annotated we are advised was not distributed by this group. So, I am posting the new message and striking the old one.

Operation Invade Wall Street is bullshit! It is a fake planted operation by law enforcement and cyber crime agencies in order to get you to undermine the Occupy Wall Street movement. It proposes you use depreciated tools that have known flaws such as LOIC.
Anonymous would never tell you to use LOIC - Not after the arrests and failures of Operation Payback.
Anonymous wouldn't attack NYSE on a HOLIDAY - It is debatable if Anonymous would ever even attack NYSE.
