Police Move Against Occupy Los Angeles

Police in the city of LA say they will sweep Occupy protest.

Occupy LA

(LOS ANGELES) - Organizers with Occupy Los Angeles are on the defensive tonight, there are paid anti-movement demonstrators reportedly taking part efforts to disrupt the movement.

A representative using the name 'Freedom' appeared on Channel 7 News in Los Angeles in their 11:00 p.m. broadcast, marking one more event in which the movement was allowed to speak for itself rather than being interpreted by news anchors, writers and reporters.

Freedom was allowed to make a strong point about how police in LA had been on their best behavior, however the expected closure of their effort was making the possibility of confrontation with police more serious almost by the moment.

Freedom said in regard to the looming police approach, "I want to add a sane and articulate face to the movement" and indeed she did.

In other parts of Southern California and in the Bay Area, protestors on college campuses were recently treated with extreme violence by police; almost making a mockery of their attempt at passive, non-violent resistance.

It is a voice of peaceful active resistance and police are likely to sweep and make arrests, at this point it still has not happened. I am including the LiveStream video, there are updated versions, visit http://occupylosangeles.org/.

I was in the area last week on a business trip, and it was a mess around LA city hall. Here is a recent headline: "Occupy LA leaves behind 30 tons of trash..." http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2011/11/occupy-la-30-tons-of-debris-left-behind-at-city-hall-tent-city.html As far as their financial parameters for the 1% rich, then my wife and I who work well over 100 hours a week at our farm/ranch are in that 1% group. That would also include the majority of independent farmers/ranchers, along with most any business (large or small) that one finds in the "yellow pages." So, who does all the hiring? It's a bleak and highly inaccurate message(s) many of these people are putting out. They have lost the argument, because they had so many talking points that they have become disjointed. I expect them back next spring, and then you will clearly see that it is an orchestrated political movement that will expose some very hateful and anti-American individuals.
