Universal Answers in Static Electricity and a Swirling Magnetic Fields

General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics in a single package? 'The Elegant Universe; Einstein's Dream' explores and misses, some of the largest questions.

(SAN DIEGO) - A 9 Nov. 2011 KPBS program copyrighted in 2002 titled "The Elegant Universe; Einstein’s Dream", started with: "Actually, no one can figure out how gravity operates when you get down to the size of atoms and subatomic particles. That is, no one can figure out how to put general relativity and quantum mechanics together into one package. For decades every attempt to describe the force of gravity in the same language of the other forces, the language of quantum mechanics, has met with disaster."

Physicist S. James Gates, Jr., U. of Maryland, stated: "In the years since, physicists split into two camps. One camp that uses general relativity to study big and heavy objects, things like stars, galaxies and the universe as a whole. And another that uses quantum mechanics to study the tiniest of objects like atoms and particles. It is kind of like having two families that just cannot get along and never talk to each other living under the same roof. There just seems to be no way to combine quantum mechanics and general relativity in a single theory that can describe the universe on all scales."

Unfortunately the scientists try to resolve the mysteries of the universe while ignoring the important details of static electricity, the secondary swirling magnetic field that swirls around the primary flow of energy and the repelling characteristic of magnetic fields of like polarity. Compare this article to the KPBS program that primarily emphasized that fact that the scientists cannot explain many aspects of the universe.

In my Nov. 8, 2011 article, I explained how the moons orbit the planets in response to the swirling magnetic field current swirling around the planet while the scientists believe the moons roll around the planets because of a depression in the fabric of space caused by the weight of the planet. The jet stream encircling Earth is created by this swirling magnetic field current. The meteorologists explain that the jet stream is caused by the rising heat from the Earth that “throws the air up and 300 miles per hour faster ahead of the Earth’s rotation. ”I contend that the rings of Saturn are created by the swirling magnetic field stimulating normally invisible atoms of gases to a glowing, visible state of excitement.

The scientists claim that it is dust and ice crystals reflecting sunlight. However, they cannot explain where the immense volume of particles came from, how they became trapped in the rings, and how they remain in such a gigantic 250,000 mile diameter ring feature only seven miles thick for centuries. And, I contend that a black hole is simply the swirling magnetic field around a powerful magnetic field that causes the swirling atoms of gases of the black hole to glow.

I also explained how an inert atom of gas is both energized and accelerated to high velocity by a flow of magnetic field current that generally flows at the speed of light. It is the normal electromagnetic attraction of negative atoms to positive atoms that form solid particles of matter that are encompassed by the swirling magnetic field in which the electrons orbit the atoms and particles.

It is when a sufficient volume of particles are attracted to each other that the combined aggregate of billions of tiny magnetic fields of each atom results in a totally encompassing magnetic field and creates the gravity. This can be demonstrated by placing many small magnets together in a cluster. In other words, gravity is not a primary energy force that can be identified in a single atom or particle but is the result of the accumulated mass of particles. While the scientists struggle to make sense of their fabric of space, this concept is demonstrable in its entirety with the known characteristics of magnetic field current.

“Einstein ran out of time to reach his goal of unification. Since Einstein’s death in the 1950’s almost no serious physicists are engaged in this quest for unification. If you try to put these two pieces of mathematics together, they do not co-exist peacefully. Combining all of the laws of the universe into one encompassing theory has become the holy grail of modern physics and we think we may at last have achieved Einstein’s dream with a new and radical set of ideas called ‘string theory’. But if this revolutional theory is right we are in for quite a shock. String theory says we may be living in a universe where reality meets science fiction; a universe of eleven dimensions with parallel universes right next door; an elegant universe composing entirely of the music of strings.”

“Unification would be the formulation of a law that describes everything in the known universe from one single idea – one master equation. The whole aim of fundamental physics is to see more and more of the world’s phenomena in terms of fewer and fewer and simpler principles.”

Steven Weinberg, U. of Texas at Austin, said: "It was Einstein’s hope that understanding the geometry of the four dimensional fabric of space time that he could simply talk about things moving along surfaces in this space time fabric and it is this warpage or curvature of space time that creates what we feel as gravity. A planet like the Earth is kept in orbit not because the Sun’s gravity reaches out instantly and grabs hold of it as in Newton’s theory but simply because it follows curves in the special fabric caused by the Sun’s presence. With this new understanding of gravity Einstein immediately set his sights on a grander goal; the unification of his new picture of gravity with the only other force of the time – electromagnetism. Electromagnetism had been unified only a few decades earlier."

In the mid 1800’s electricity and magnetism was sparking interest These two forces seemed to share a serious relationship. An electrical pulse sent to a magnet thousands of miles away produced the dot and dash of Morse code that allowed messages to be transmitted across the continent in a fraction of a second. But the fundamental science driving it remained a mystery. But to James Maxwell the relationship between electricity and magnetism was so obvious in nature that it demanded unification. When a stream of electrically charged particles flow like in a bolt of lightning it creates a magnetic field and you can see it in a compass when the needle fluctuates wildly.

So Maxwell devised the mathematical equation that unified electricity and magnetism in a single force called electromagnetism. This took science a step closer to cracking the code of the universe.

Actually, it is the magnetic field current flowing through the added resistance of the clouds that generated the accumulated static electricity charge that is discharged to the Earth or other clouds with opposite polarity. It has nothing to do with charged particles, only electrical energy that instantly travels at the speed of light.

"The goal of string theory is to unify our understanding of everything from the birth of the universe to the majestic swirl of galaxies in just one set of principles and one master equation. Einstein reasoned all that remained to build a theory of everything in a single theory that could encompass all of the laws of the universe was to merge his new picture of gravity with electromagnetism. Since the speed of gravity is equal to the speed of light then maybe that’s an indication of some underlying symmetry but the difference in strength between these two forces would outweigh their symmetry. The electromagnetic force is billions and billions of times stronger than gravity.

"This string theory is the same as the general theory and the added details are preposterous. It continued: “Atoms long thought to be the smallest constituent of nature was found to consist of even smaller particles. The now familiar nucleus of protons and neutrons orbited by electrons. There was a tremendous mystery of how to account for all of this. The theories of Einstein and Maxwell were useless in explaining the bizarre way these tiny bits of matter interacted with each other inside the atom."

Peter Galison, Harvard U. said: “The old theories were totally inadequate in the task of explaining it. Gravity was irrelevant and far too weak and electricity and magnetism were not sufficient. In the 1930’s scientists discovered that gravity and magnetism are not the only forces ruling the universe. In the structure of the atom they discovered two new forces. One dubbed the strong nuclear force acts like super glue holding the nucleus of every atom together binding proton to neutrons. And the other called the weak nuclear force allows the neutrons to turn into protons giving off radiation in the process. At the quantum level, the force we are most familiar with, gravity, is completely overshadowed by electromagnetism and the two new forces.”

The program concluded: “Quantum mechanics tells us how all of the nature’s forces work in the microscopic realm except for the force of gravity. Actually no one can figure out how gravity operates when you get down to the size of atoms and subatomic particles. That is, no one can figure out how to put general relativity and quantum mechanics together in one package. For decades every attempt to describe the force of gravity in the same language of the other forces, the language of quantum mechanics, has met with disaster.”

I believe my concept effectively unifies quantum mechanics with general relatively in a simple, comprehensive and demonstrable explanation. The swirling magnetic field characteristic was not discovered until the early 1900’s. If it were discovered sooner, I am sure that Maxwell would have recognized its importance. Unfortunately, the scientists who now believe in quantum mechanics adamantly defend their belief and are not interested in discussing any alternative concept that does not conform to their beliefs. And, those who believe in general relativity also refuse to consider any alternative concept in spite of the obviously ludicrous explanation of the fabric of space time. This is why it may take 1,000 years to solve the embarrassing amount of mysteries remaining unresolved in the universe.
