JP Morgan Chase Overcharged Combat Troops for Mortgages

“No finer group than those who fight to protect our country everyday,”
You honor and reward them by maliciously taking their homes away?

JP Morgan

(CLEVELAND) - Isn't enough that they served their nation under the most hostile circumstances ever imagined?

Sometimes it seems like the Veterans of this nation are nothing but some kind of non-human tool and I have news for you, they aren't.

Imagine, a Captain of Marines; an aviator who flies missions in the FA-18 Hornet in the combat theater, having to wonder if his home is being taken in the middle of the night by lenders who falsely claim they didn't receive payments that he had in fact sent.

JP Morgan, first to be assisted in their time of need, but screw America's combat warriors? Is that the message the US government is sending?

Will this mad cycle ever end or will those who work the hardest and risk the very most, operating at the highest possible standards... always be who takes it in the chin?

This is the story of JP Morgan and uncaring billionaire companies and real Americans, like an F/A 18D weapons system officer, named Captain Jonathan Rowles.

Men surviving in a war have things on their mind that the average American can not comprehend or imagine, nor would they want to. Personal security should not be a concern, economic security should not be a concern, what is happening is a major distraction to people who need to be allowed to perform their jobs with a clear mind.

Is that too much to ask?

JP Morgan Chase Overcharged Combat Troops for Mortgages

So, Iraq and/or Afghanistan, you’re used to fighting back,
But back home in the states finding yourself under attack?
Mortgages from billion $$$ corporation JP Morgan Chase,
Had the nerve to stab you in the back, slap you in the face?

F/A 18D weapons system officer, named Jonathan Rowles,
A United States Marine Captain while on active duty knows,
He was illegally imposed to high an interest rate on his loan,
And the saddest part of the scandal is it wasn‘t just his home.

He was repeatedly pressed for payments he had already made,
Shall the U.S. Government step in & come to the captain’s aid?
Uh, kept charging him 10% interest violating the Civil Relief Act,
As they threatened to take his home what happened to the pact?

So, service members were overcharged interest while overseas,
While on active duty by good old American Institutions. Please!
Telling the Rowles it would foreclose if payments weren’t made,
Calling all hours of the day & night, billionaires have to be paid.

Chase & baking giants like them aren’t owned by the average guy,
Because if they were, they’d no longer be billionaires that’s why,
Targeting soldiers in harms way on both fronts with bogus claims,
Hired an attorney, Dick Harpootlian not Uncle Sam was his name.

One and only thought should be the war in front and staying alive,
Not the battlefield in the rear confronting their children and wives,
Thousands of military personnel involved, 14 families forced out,
Yet the United States Armed Forces not a word from their mouth.

Question! Where was the Attorney General of the good old USA?
You mean the office of the main legal advisor didn’t get in the way?
So when the fighting arm of this, “great nation” was being “goosed,”
That high power of right that could, did nothing to undue the noose?

Kristian Lamkau said JP feels, “particularly bad” that’s a damn lie,
Chase’s Chief Communication Officer is full of crap, here is why,
Had Capt. Jonathan Rowles not fought back through legal means,
Then the total number of foreclosures soon would have tallied 15.

“No finer group than those who fight to protect our country everyday,”
You honor and reward them by maliciously taking their homes away?
As now you’ve assembled a group to assist those who were affected,
Translation, if it wasn’t for the lawsuit soldiers would still be neglected.

“We have made mistakes and we are fixing them.” Ha! It went too far,
Second translation? “We got caught with our hands in the cookie jar,”
Punishment? Hey! Put on these boots, helmet, fatigues, this backpack,
Now wave goodbye to everybody on your way to Afghanistan & Iraq.

Luke Easter is a poet who writes about things that are very close to the heart of Salem-News.com. Another former U.S. Marine, Luke heals the world with an approach that reaches people on a different level, one known for centuries, yet too often forgotten in the one we live in.

We live in a world of social & economic injustice. The main reason for founding America in the first place was to relieve the oppression of the King of England. Patrick Henry said it best, “give me liberty or give me death.” And yet, all too often death seems to be the only way out. Why is there such a high suicide rate especially among teens, in the land of the free & the home of the brave? What makes headlines? Good news? Ha! More depressing stories than anything else. I feel poetry takes an edge off the hurt of bad news while still delivering it but in a, “glitzy” sort of way. Giving a different perspective. Kind of like slap in the face as opposed to a knife in the back. At least with the slap you’ll live to see another day and you will know whom it’s from. I wasn’t here for the beginning of the world but at 59, I just might be here for the end.

Even though it’s still a knife, rhyme poetry helps to dull the blade. And that’s my job. You can write to Luke Easter at: lyricsfromlucas@aol.com

Also the NBC Evening News with Brian Williams as they carried an interview with a female Lt. Colonel whose home was foreclosed on along with Captain Rowles and his wife. In front of a Senate Sub-Committee on Capital Hill. They were questioning JP Chase wheh they should have been questioning themselves because the government never stepped in to help/assist.

They stole the veterans death benefits also, and this news is weeks old.. I am sorry Tim, but between this article and the article by Jerry West, there is no reason for me to come to this website. Try www.infowars.com

Editor: If you took the time to look at the date on the story you would see that it was published some time ago, but I brought it up to the top of the site because it was a story in the Portland news last night on TV and I thought people would enjoy reading more about it.  Go get some more coffee, you know damned well nobody is making you visit Salem-News.com, why don't you stop complaining?
