Aug-20-2010 18:10TweetFollow @OregonNews Sources Report Israel Will Back Off Threats Toward IranTim King Salem-News.comThe cruel joke in context with this, is that Israel has had nuclear weapons pointed at Iran and other nations for over twenty years.
(SALEM, Ore.) - When I wrote, Americans Won't Back Attack on Iran two days ago, I have to admit it was executed with a great deal of optimism. This week we learn that President Barack Obama is actually backing Israel down from its world ending charade against Iran's supposed capability of building a nuclear weapon- at least for the time being. Either way it is at least a step in the right direction. Israel will not regret the move to let the world go on in peace a little longer. Maybe it is just a stay of execution, only time will tell, but it is a fact that Iran has stated over and over that it only desires to have clean and efficient nuclear power. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is on the record stating that his country does not aspire to create deadly nuclear weapons. Obama knows what is going on; he knows the US has more than laid down on the job. The supposedly ever vigilant freedom fighter United States has absolutely thrown the Palestinian population to the wolves, feeding the wolf pack Israel with endless billions of dollars. The cruel joke in context with this, is that Israel has had nuclear weapons pointed at Iran and other nations for over twenty years. Israel is not part of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, it is not sanctioned to maintain or use deadly nukes, but it has them. It took Americans twenty years just to learn that this was the case, even though it was old news in the Mideast and in Europe when we finally released it. (see the 29 May 2008 article: Carter Reveals Israel's Possession of 150 Nuclear Weapons) Our writer Eileen Fleming in Florida, has interviewed the Israeli nuclear program Whistleblower, Mordechai Vanunu, and written about his extended incarcerations in Israel for his role in exposing their nuke program. He was just freed again last week, after being imprisoned in solitary confinement again, for speaking to the press about Israel's nuclear program, which he believes is very dangerous. For those just dialing in, especially readers wrestling with confusion; Salem-News.com frequently publishes reports about how religious extremists in Israel known as 'Zionists', fall back on Biblical prophesy i.e. 'The Chosen People', to justify the daily theft of established Palestinian land. Since the establishment of Israel in 1947, Jews with government backing, have been stealing Arab homes and either simply moving in, or destroying them and building new 'settlements' which are frequently discussed in the evening news. It seems incredible to Americans who have property rights and are not discriminated against specifically and directly over their religions and racial background. In Israel this is the law. Christians and Muslims have no rights at all in some areas. A strong example is how Palestinians as young as eight years old can be arrested and tried as adults for throwing rocks at Israeli soldiers. Israel's Jewish kids on the other hand, can not be arrested in the same context until they are 18 years old. Oddly enough, that is the same age they are forced to join the military. There have been many deaths stretched out over many years in the history so far, of Israel. Arabs were literally murdered and driven from their homes beginning in 1947. Today peace protests every Friday are met by Israeli weapons. In recent months a Jewish female college student from New York offering support to the Palestinians, was shot at point blank range in the face with a tear gas launcher, by an Israeli soldier. The girl was bludgeoned and lost an eye. The Israel soldier was not charged. Even in those cases there is not justice, advocates for Palestinian rights say, so how on earth can anyone expect the Israeli soldiers to treat Arabs with any level of respect or decency? Israel attacked the Gaza Strip during the winter of 2008/2009 and killed over 1400 people, almost all civilians. The prolonged attacks utilizing illegal weapons were in response to rocket attacks from Hamas, the legitimately elected political group in Palestine that was branded 'terrorists' by the US and Israel, the two nations responsible for the most violence and death in the world in recent years. The one nation in the Mideast that has taken the brunt of western abuse is Iran. The British exploited Iran's oil in the years following WWII and refused to let the Iranians see the books, also refusing to pay Iran what it was owed for providing the oil in the first place. The US and Great Britain teamed up and removed Iran's first democratically elected President in 1953 and installed the 'Shah' who was the equivalent of a western puppet leader. By 1979 the former Persia was tired of watching the US and England bleed its resources dry, and the Islamic Revolution was on. This led to the kidnapping of American hostages who were held for 444 days and then released. This incident gave the US a black eye that has apparently never gone away. In retaliation, the US blasted a civilian Iranian airliner out of the sky killing hundreds of men, women and children. The US Navy lied and was caught and exposed repeatedly. This is the type of incident that generates real resentment; yet Iran's response against the US was very minimal. Iran has never threatened the United States, and Iran has not threatened to blow up or 'wipe out' Israel, yet the US and Israel constantly talk about wanting to destroy Iran, where millions of people live in peace, and while they have an imperfect government like most countries, they also live with the knowledge that they are a very threatened population. The United States, in retribution for the 1979 Hostage Crisis, covertly funded then ally Saddam Hussein in Iraq to invade Iran and start the nine-year long Iran-Iraq War, which should be called, "The Iraq-Iran War" since Iran did not start it, yet did finish it, victoriously. Then the US gave the green light via an Iraq diplomat, for Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait, an ally of Saudi Arabia. The US responded to aid Kuwait, Iraq retreated, and the US Air Force killed hundreds of thousands of retreating soldiers with deadly assaults from fighter jets, they never had a fighting chance and were in retreat when killed. These are the same Iraqi soldiers who a few years earlier, had fought Iran for the benefit of American ego. So it is good that Obama has actually talked the Israeli government out of imminent plans to attack Iran, a country whose biggest mistake has been to speak out over the crisis that Israel has created by displacing millions of Palestinian people. It is in a way like America and the old west. In this case the Palestinians are the Native Americans, and Israel is the US Cavalry Indian fighters. There is no question today in the states that the matter was handled regrettably. It has been hellish for the native population of the US but today populations more or less live in peace. White Americans can no longer simply toss a Cherokee off his land, out of his home, into the streets, but in Israel a Jew can do this to a Muslim, and it is wrong. My prayers are that Israel does everything it needs to survive. As they say: "A stitch in time saves nine." Of course when Obama gets impeached next years, appropriate measures can be taken, including on our domestic terrorists that aid this brutal murdering regime.
Editor: Oh I think Israel will do what it can to survive, little question about that. My question to you; can you name a western person who the Iranians have ever killed? Israel has killed and/or injured a whole book's worth of US and British citizens, just curious, thanks.

I have a good friend who emigrated from Palestine due to his family's land being taken by the Israelis some 30+ years ago. Of course he is bitter. The sad thing is that he has given up and has turned his back on his own religion due to the hardships he has had to endure. All this in the name of the UN and a "relocation program" that was forced down the throat of a culture and people who had nothing to do with the matter, in the least. Someone in America should do a documentary on the matter to open th eyes of the typical American who has no real idea what happened and the impact on innocent people, mostly due to the Israeli/Jewish lobby in Washington.

Right on...!! Thank you, Tim!

Why does the issue become one of religion? I do not consider the religious implications of the matter, yet others seem to not be able to separate political and human rights from religious ideologies...
Editor: This is only about religion unfortunately. Any time radical extremists are at the helm, be they Christian, Muslim or Jewish, we have problems. Iran has spoken out about the oppression of the Palestinian population, whose land has been stolen for the creation of Israel. The Israeli Zionists want every Palestinian either dead or removed. They do it because they perceive themselves to be 'the Chosen People' and this is taken as a license to kill and oppress. The matter at hand is humanity, so I understand your confusion.

I feel sorry for you! Intentionally or unintentionally, you are a dangerous individual with an agenda. You would have backed Hitler!!
Tim King: So you support genocide? What a terrible thing. You and your cohorts think you are better and more entitled than others and I have news for you.....

The proven superiority of the Judeo-Christian world over the fundamentalist Islamic world Here is how Saudi Arabia, the owner of Mecca and therefore the heart of Islam, uses what passes for medical science. It is admittedly to the credit of one of the hospitals that was asked to do this refused. A Saudi judge has asked several hospitals in the country whether they could damage a man’s spinal cord as punishment after he was convicted of attacking another man with a cleaver and paralyzing him, the brother of the victim said yesterday. ...one of the hospitals, located in Tabuk, responded that it is possible to damage the spinal cord, but it added that the operation would have to be done at another more-specialized facility. Saudi newspapers reported that a second hospital in the capital of Riyadh declined, saying it could not inflict such harm. This, on the other hand, is what Israel does, thus again proving that one Judeo-Christian is worth any number of Islamic fundamentalists. A revolutionary experimental therapy for spinal cord injuries is being developed by Proneuron Biotechnologies, Inc based on discoveries made in Israel at the Weizmann Institute of Science. The results for the first eight individuals who received this experimental therapy in Israel were reported at the National-International Neurotrauma Society Meeting in Tampa, Florida., last October. Three of the original eight individuals experienced some recovery of both sensation and voluntary movement in their trunk and legs; recovery of this extent is very rare in patients with similar injuries.

Bilderberg Group inside info stated that many wanted to attack Iran, but many also said no. Ron Paul stated "the hard core neocons (like bolton) are pushing hard to bomb Iran, but that milder neocons are saying no. He also said many military officials are saying no. It doesnt matter who is president, there is no way, at this stage of the game, and the debates going on, that we could support bombing Iran. Ron Paul said that the 'boltons' will continue to fight tooth and nail, he hopes they wont win, but if people have to stand up and share their concerns. Obama does know what is going on, that he does not have the approval of enough people to bomb Iran.

This is one article that I have read that talks sense and about peace rather than war drums being led by warmongers like Bolton and team. Thanks for your candid assessment and may God protect all the peace loving people on earth.
