Symptoms of foodborne illness caused by Salmonella include fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps.
(ATLANTA ) -
The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to eat certain jars of Peter Pan peanut butter or Great Value peanut butter due to risk of contamination with Salmonella Tennessee (a bacterium that causes foodborne illness).
A 4.5 magnitude quake hit the same area on Sunday.
(BANDON) -
A magnitude 5.3 earthquake rattled off the Oregon coast Wednesday.
The USGS says the quake struck at 2:12 PM, 151 miles WNW of the town of Bandon.
The quake had a depth of 3.7 miles.
Highway 223 was closed about one hour.
(MONMOUTH) -
One person died Wednesday afternoon when the car he was driving crossed the center line on Highway 223 about eight miles south of Monmouth and crashed with a fully loaded log truck.
The center will initially add a staff of twenty four associates to the approximately 125 Eschelon employees currently based in Oregon.
(SALEM) -
Eschelon Telecom, Inc., a provider of integrated communications services to small and medium sized businesses in the western United States, announced Wednesday that it has opened a customer operations center, located at 3991 Fairview Industrial Dr. SE in Salem.
The center will perform customer service, order processing and billing inquiry functions and serves as a backup to the existing five local sales and customer service offices throughout Oregon.
