37 years on, unexploded bombs continue to ruin lives in the former wartime frontline regions of Vietnam.

It was here, at around 10am on one sweltering hot morning in 1988, as Nguyen Dinh Thu was hoeing the small piece of land his parents had given him, that he struck the unexploded US military bomb that had lain undisturbed there for 15 years.

Future of School Going Children of Displaced Families of Mehrabadi after Rimsha`s Release

I have not been able to understand, who will be responsible of the loss of the school going children. None of the NGO or government officials are taking notice of the children.

(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan) - Hundreds of Pakistani Christians are living in fear since the little girl Rimsha was released. On August 16, Rimsha, a Christian girl of 14 years was arrested in a Blasphemy case which was planned by Muslim cleric Muhammad Khalid Chashti.

Since the incident had happened, the Christian residents of that vicinity have shifted to other places.

India Tops the World in Under-5 Deaths

According to an estimate, about one third of world’s poor lived in India.

(RENO,NV) - Starving children in India India is top in the world for under-five deaths at 1.7 million, which is 24% of the share of total number of such deaths, according to a new UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) report.

Under-5 mortality rate of India was 61 in 2011, where neonatal causes, followed by pneumonia were the highest cause of such deaths.

Humanitarian Disaster at Sea

The death of a little Palestinian girl is a grim reminder of the plight of desperate people seeking refuge across the Mediterranean.

(LONDON) - The girl in the green jacket was found lifeless. The little girl was dressed in blue pants and a green jacket. Her hair was finely kempt in a ponytail, probably interwoven by her mother.

Thursday was meant to be a special day for her, butut on that day itself, the little Palestinian girl sunk to her death, along with her family and many others.

Next hearing for the girl, Rimsha, will be on 1st of September, 2012.

(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan ) - Shamim Masih talking to Mr. Rehman apposing the Rimsha's case Doctors in Pakistan have examined a young Christian girl with Down's syndrome, who has been imprisoned on blasphemy charges.

The hearing started at 9:30 am and was adjourned after a few minutes. The case will be back in front of a judge until 1st September, 2012.
