(DA NANG, Vietnam) - Photo: Geoffrey Cain/IRIN At least 92 people were killed when Ketsana struck central Vietnam on Tuesday One thing amazes me during and after a natural disaster occurs – including those that have occurred in our own United States – has it ever occurred to anyone, or is it just me? I went through that meat grinder myself and I psychologically compared it to front-line infantry combat. Death is/was the enemy and as interns, green as glass, it seemed sometimes that we were required to know MORE than the Senior Residents or Staff Doctors.
