El Toro`s Unwanted Legacy: Toxic Chemicals

Marines at El Toro were exposed to toxic chemicals, none were notified.

(IRVINE, Calif.) - I don’t believe in ghosts. If I ran into one or two, maybe I’d change my mind.

The stories of lights in the former Marine Corps Air Stations El Toro’s control tower when the power was cut off in July 1999 may be just someone’s wild imagination or I guess if you believe in paranormal activity, maybe the ghosts of Marines who served on the base and returned to haunt the place. No question there’s good reasons for haunting the place.

Recruiting and retention are decreasing drastically. Fighting ones enemies is bad enough, when a soldier has to fight his superiors and the VA when he gets out it’s worse.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Suicides are increasing, alcoholism is increasing, illegal drug use is increasing, spousal murder is increasing, recruiting is decreasing, retention is decreasing.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE STATISTICS????

One can be ordered to perform a real suicide battle mission as simply as one could be ordered to clean his rifle or shave.

As for us, we remain hitched to a crazed convoy with various derailed [components]."

(SALEM, Ore.) - WikiLeaks has released a document set called the Afghan War Diary (AWD), an extraordinary compendium of over 91,000 reports covering the war in Afghanistan from 2004 to 2010.

The reports, while written by soldiers and intelligence officers mainly describing lethal military actions involving the United States military, also include intelligence information, reports of meetings with political figures, and related detail.
