(MANAKAEKIN, NJ / SALEM, Ore.) - Stanley Perry and John Van Blarcom in Vietnam This is a true story about an Officer and a Gentleman from Salem, Oregon.

Forty four years ago, in 1966, two very young men crossed paths half way around the world in Phu Loi, Vietnam. Both were in the U.S. Army, members of the 116th AHC (Assault Helicopter Company).

I was a Huey crew chief and Warrant Officer Stanley Perry was a pilot. We flew many missions together during the year and have a lot of stories to tell, but the story I want to tell took place last week.

Emotion Vs. Logic

The religious battles that continue to be fought are over which symbol has the right of Primacy, and which leadership will prevail.

(PASO ROBLES, Calif.) - Religious struggle Propaganda and ignorance cause many Americans to believe the unbelievable about President Barack Obama.

It begins with a lack of understanding of the Religions of the Book, and ends with condemnations and accusations of the President; the victim of a campaign by Republicans whose purpose is to win back the power of the presidency by playing upon the ignorance of willing consenters. So, let’s set the record straight.

Russian Prisoner: Private Phillip Leveque
A Very Lucky Dogface

Folks you are reading about a very lucky AMERIKANSKI.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - The one and only Dr. Phil Leveque I still get chills down my spine when I think about it even though it happened 65 years ago.

I wrote about it in my book GENERAL PATTONS DOGFACE SOLDIER. It has stuck with me all these years as it was possibly the closest I ever got to being killed in WWII.

Irvine Great Park Inherits Contaminants

Irvine Ranch and MCAS El Toro Residual Pesticides & Herbicides Persist.

(IRVINE, Calif.) - Irvine Ranch Panorama Recent scuttlebutt regarding the Superfund cleanup of former MCAS El Toro is that much of the hardscape will remain in place. Apparently it’s being given some spin by Larry Agran’s ass-covering minions as the homage (tribute) to the historical military use of the site, leaving the runways and possibly even entire arterial streets and sidewalks intact.

That’s PR for you when the people in charge have big marketing budgets provided on the backs of taxpayers.

Autism: Newest Successful Treatment

California Medical Marijuana doctors and others elsewhere have discovered from parents of autistic children that cannabis/marijuana works for many.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - The mother of Joey Perez says medical marijuana baked into brownies saved her autistic son's life. I am constrained to write this new story about successful Autism treatment because of an article I just read from TIME magazine May 25, 2009 titled HOW AUTISM AGES. It is a frightening story both for what severe damage it did to the family but also the psychological destruction it did to the autistic person.

He had been viciously mistreated both physically and pharmaceutically by a whole bunch of pseudo-experts who in some retrospection did not have a clue what they were doing...

Camp Lejeune`s Sickness and Unexpected Déjà Vu

The people who fight this battle every day are ill veterans and family members. They have no champion, no General, no Admiral.

(ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.) - Camp Lejeune “Kidney Cancer – first dad now mom” was the title of the first posting I saw on the Discussion Board of the website “The Few, The Proud, The Forgotten”.

The details of the posting made my heart sink into my boots. Once again, a new member had joined the discussion, looking for information and help. Once again, the story was tragic beyond belief. All as a result of exposure to contamination at Camp Lejeune.

An Editorial Assessment of Agent Orange and Vietnam Veterans as of August 2010

(SEATTLE) - Agent Orange vets It's comically painful to read and watch comments by some Vietnam Veterans and concerned folks on this and other issues relating to Agent Orange.

I'm a Vietnam Veteran who unknowingly bathed regularly in various dilutions of the sprayed AO chemical mixed with our shower water.
