Man`s Body Discovered in Tualatin Creek

Tualatin Police do not suspect any foul play at this time and the death appears to be accidental.

(TUALATIN, Ore.) - Death investigation Police say a white male was found lying face down in rain swollen Hedges Creek in Tualatin this morning. The report was called in by a passer-by who saw the body of the man when she was out walking her dogs. The body was reported at about 7:50 AM today.

Police officers responded and located the body of a white male lying face down in about 2-3 feet of water. The victim was clearly deceased.

Clogged Culverts Cause Significant Flooding in Tualitan

While conducting the evacuations firefighters had to contend with safety concerns over stepping in open man holes and outdoor landscape lights under water.

(TUALATIN, Ore.) - High water sign for flooded road Emergency crews say a clogged culvert along Highway 99, just south of Durham Road, has resulted in significant flooding of the southbound lanes of Highway 99 and a King City neighborhood at SW Queen Anne Avenue and Royalty Parkway.

Motorists were encouraged to use an alternative route and employ extreme caution if traveling southbound due to limited access, heavy equipment, and crews working at the site. Clean Water Services and ODOT crews worked late to unclog the culvert before morning rush hour.

Tualatin Swears In 24 Volunteer Firefighters Monday

The Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and Clackamas County Fire District are two of the largest groups of volunteer firefighters in Oregon.

(Tualatin, Ore.) - Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue on a construction site rescue operation.  The volunteers will join these firefighters and rescuers Twenty-four local men and women will be sworn-in as Volunteer Firefighters at a Graduation Ceremony hosted by Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and Clackamas County Fire District No. 1. This event follows their passage of a rigorous, ten week, 150-hour Volunteer Recruit Academy that began last July.

The Academy was a joint venture between Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and Clackamas County Fire District Number 1. Karen Eubanks, Public Information Officer for Tualitan Fire, says Karen Eubanks with Tualitan Fire.

Man Dies in Construction-Related Accident on I-205 in Oregon

The victim was fatally injured when a steel bar landed on a control pedal for the backhoe.

(Tualatin, Ore.) - Backhoe involved in fatal accident in Oregon A contract construction worker was killed Sunday night from injuries suffered when he was pinned between a backhoe's stabilizer landing gear and the rear bucket while working in a highway construction project on Interstate 205 just north of Interstate 5.

Lieutenant Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police says the victim has been identified as 47-year old David Leroy Lasley.

Tualatin Police Make Quarter Million Dollar Ecstasy Arrest‎

The initial investigation was a result of a citizen complaint.

The arrest was the result of an on going six month investigation.

On January 29th of this year, Tualatin Police investigated the report of 2 people attempting to sell "Ecstasy" to employees of Jiggles.

Firefighters Rescue Contractor from Concrete Pit

The Fire District's Technical Rescue Team utilized one of two cranes - used by contractors to transport tools and equipment across the job site, to bring the patient up and out of the concrete pit.

(TUALATIN, Ore.) - Rescue scene in Tualitan, Oregon 5807 Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a reported construction accident at 18560 SW 85th Avenue in Tigard Today at 11:42 AM.

TVF&R Fire Spokesperson Karen Eubanks says that as crews arrived at the Clean Water Services site on 85th Avenue, they found an adult male lying in a large, 4-sided open concrete pit.

Oregon Guard Will Train With Tualitan Valley Firefighters

Familiarity in a number of areas will help the agencies work together in the event of a disaster.

(TUALITAN) - Oregon Guard Blackhawk rescue helicopter When disaster strikes, it's "all hands on deck." That includes not only local emergency responders, but often Oregon's military as well. Police Officers in Tualatin Help Contain Two Dangerous Dogs

(TUALATIN) - Salem-News.com Police Officers in Tualatin helped contain two dangerous dogs that destroyed a domestic cat earlier today.

Tualatin Police were called the area on a report of two large dogs destroying a cat.

When Officer Nate Cooper arrived, he located the two dogs who were still with the cat, which was deceased.
