(EUGENE, Ore.) - Police, are asking for the public's help to find a missing Eugene-area man whose pickup was found abandoned at a southern Oregon coast public wayside on Highway 101 about nine miles south of Gold Beach.

49-year old Mark J. Rees of Eugene, was reported missing by his ex-wife April 11, 2010 to Eugene Police Department after she learned Rees failed to pay rent to his landlord.

(HUBBARD, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's Office detectives have been called in to assist with the investigation of a fatal hit & run pedestrian collision that occurred Saturday night, 3/4 of a mile south of Hubbard.

Deputies Ryan Clarke and Tom Croft were called to the scene in the 17000 block of Front Street NE at 8:59 p.m., according to Don Thomson with the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
