One Dies in Highway 26 east of Government Camp

(GOVERNMENT CAMP) - Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into Thursday morning's fatal traffic crash involving a commercial vehicle on Highway 26 about seventeen miles east of Government Camp on the Warm Springs Reservation.

Bicyclist Struck by Amtrak Passenger Train Dies

As of 10:05 p.m. tonight the train is still blocking two Milwaukie intersections.

(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak passenger train tonight at approximately 9:30 p.m. Officer Ulli Neitch with Milwaukie Police, says she responded to the incident quickly; it happened about half a block from the TV station.

"The incident occurred at the SE Oak Street intersection with Campbell, right next to Milwaulkie Shopping Center."

Alcohol-Related Crash Into Molalla River Claims Driver`s Life

The passenger was miraculously "self-rescued" with serious injuries.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Deputies say the out-of-control vehicle first struck a large post anchored in concrete, went off the road and careened over a 15' embankment, landing upside down in 3' of water in the river. Passenger Amanda Sowa climbed the steep bank and had to walk half a mile to reach help.

Tualatin Woman Dies in Crash East of Astoria

A Tualatin-area woman died and two other people were injured.

(ASTORIA, Ore.) - Police are continuing the investigation into Friday afternoon's two vehicle fatal traffic crash on Highway 202 about three miles east of Astoria.

A 1999 Volkswagen was westbound on Highway 202 near milepost 5 negotiating a curve when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an eastbound 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with two adult female occupants.

Crash on Salem Freeway Traps and Injures Two

Two northbound lanes were closed for an hour.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Police say two people were injured Friday morning when a van's driver lost control, crossed the center median and rolled into the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 about 1/2 mile north of the Highway 22 overpass in Salem.

It happened at approximately 7:58 a.m.

Salem Police Officer Makes U-Turn and Causes Traffic Crash

Police say there were no injuries in the accident.

Eight Injured in Tillamook Tour Bus Fire - PHOTOS

Police say the fire appears to be accidental.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Police say eight people were transported to hospitals in Tillamook and Portland for injuries sustained in a Sunday afternoon fire on a Raz Transportation tour bus on Highway 101 north of Tillamook.

Police say a 71-year old female from Wisconsin was taken by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland for burn and smoke inhalation injuries.

Crash Seriously Injures Forest Grove Motorcyclist

OSP troopers from the Tillamook work site are continuing the investigation.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Police say a Forest Grove man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle on Highway 6 about 22 miles east of Tillamook.

Oregon State Police say 61-year old Daniel Everett Shaw of Forest Grove, lost control negotiating a left curve, slid into an embankment and was thrown off the motorcycle into a ten foot ditch.

Bicyclists Spot Crashed Car with Abandoned, Injured Passenger

Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor of this resulting crash.

(WEST LYNN, Ore.) - A group of bicyclists are credited with saving a woman seriously injured in a car crash and then reportedly left trapped in the wreckage, by the driver and another passenger.
