Foggy Crash into Mill Creek Leaves One Dead, One Critical

Investigators say it's unclear at this point what caused the crash, but alcohol involvement has not yet been ruled out.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Fatal crash near Salem, Oregon 31 An Aumsville man died early Sunday morning in the 4600 block of Delany Road SE after a violent crash into Mill Creek.

According to Marion County Sheriff's Lt. Tim Steele, Portland General Electric crews were called about 5:15 a.m. to neighborhood reports of power outages.

Salem Freeway Reopens Following Fatal Motorcycle Crash Into School Bus

Northbound I-5 is now open at milepost 250, south of Salem, after a fatal crash. An earlier detour is no longer in effect as all lanes of northbound travel are open.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Fatal crash Oregon State Police troopers are investigating Tuesday afternoon's traffic crash that resulted in the death of an adult male motorcycle operator northbound on Interstate 5 south of Salem.

A fully loaded Creswell School District school bus was involved in the crash but no students were injured.

Landslide Closes South River Road in Salem

The heavy rains have taken a toll on the area.

(SALEM, Ore.) - River Road boulder A landslide on South River Road brought down a huge boulder, breaking the asphalt upon impact and blocking the thoroughfare.

Mudslide Closes US Highway 20

Eastbound motorists should use OR 22 or OR 126 to access Santiam Pass and points east, while westbound motorists will be detoured onto OR 126.

(CASCADIA) - Mudslide A landslide has closed US Highway 20 (Santiam Hwy) at milepost 44, just east of Cascadia.

Oregon Dept. of Transportation crews say the slide has deposited 150 cubic yards of mud, rock and debris on the highway as well as 12-14 large trees.
