Two Vehicle Crash Results In Serious Injury

(SALEM) - Road rage based crash in Salem, Or. 4-10-14 A man who witnesses say forced one vehicle off the roadway after he crossed the center line struck another vehicle sending both men to the hospital.

Pavel Bobko, age 32, of Salem was driving his silver Dodge Caravan on Cordon Road NE between Sunnyview Road NE and Carolina Road NE this afternoon ar ound 2:00 p.m.

Double Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 47 North of Forest Grove

Highway 47 was closed in both directions with ODOT personnel on scene coordinating a traffic detour for 5 hours.

(MCMINNVILLE) - Fatal crash Hwy 47 Oregon 4-07-14 Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Monday morning's two vehicle traffic crash that resulted in the death of two people on Highway 47 at NW Verboort Road north of Forest Grove. The deceased individuals names are released in this update.

On April 7, 2014 at approximately 9:25 a.m., OSP, WCSO, local fire and emergency responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Highway 47 near NW Verboort Road about a mile north of Forest Grove.

Update: Names Released - Double Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 22 west of Dallas in Polk County

OSP troopers from the Salem and McMinnville offices are investigating along with collision reconstructionists from OSP and Keizer Police Department.

(DALLAS) - Fatal crash Hwy 22 Oregon 4-4-14 Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Polk County District Attorney's Office and Keizer Police Department, are continuing the investigation into the cause of a Friday evening two vehicle double fatal traffic crash along Highway 22 about three miles west of Dallas.

The crash resulted in the death of two males and serious injuries to another male and a female.

Runaway Pickup Containing Three Children Crashes into House

Deputies determined that the children were playing in the truck and one of them knocked it out of gear. No charges have been filed and no citations were issued.

(PORTLAND) - House children crashed truck into 4-5-14 A pickup truck with three children in it rolled down the street uncontrolled and crashed into a house. The children were not hurt and no one was home at the time of the crash.

Yesterday, Friday, February 21, 2014, at about 4:42 p.m. Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a pickup truck that crashed into a house at 8415 SW Carmel CT in the community of Garden Home.

Preliminary Information: Double Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 34 near Lebanon in Linn County

The highway was closed over four hours during the investigation.

(ALBANY, Or.) - fatal crash Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into the cause of an early Saturday morning double fatal traffic crash involving two vehicles on Highway 34 west of Lebanon. The names of the four occupants in one of the vehicles will be released later pending confirmation of next of kin notifications for the two deceased victims.

Preliminary investigation indicates on April 5, 2014 at approximately 1:22 a.m., a passenger car driven by a female with three male occupants was eastbound on Highway 34 near milepost 17.

Woman Struck While Crossing Lancaster Drive in Salem

(SALEM) - Car vs pedestrian in Salem, Oregon 4-3-14 A woman was struck by a car Thursday night around 9:00 p.m. on Lancaster Drive NE at D Street, as she crossed from west to east. Two witnesses at the scene spoke to Salem-News about what they saw.

Emalee Brown, a customer in the Dutch Brothers drive-through said, "I was sitting at Dutch Brothers and there was a lady walking in the crosswalk, and she hadn't really made it to the middle lane yet. The car was coming from McDonald's when the light was red."

Deputy Hit By Car While on Traffic Stop

Justin Kinyon, with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, was fortunate to escape serious injury.

(SALEM) - Scene where Marion County deputy was struck "I was sitting in my car filling out a citation and suddenly I was thrown forward." These are the words of Deputy Justin Kinyon who was struck by another vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Lancaster Dive NE near Glendale Avenue NE at about 1:00 p.m., yesterday.

Deputy Kinyon was pulled to the right in his fully marked patrol car with his emergency lights activated. According to witnesses, Mohammed Ali, age 53, of Salem was driving his Ford, Windstar van in the right hand lane as he approached Deputy Kinyon's traffic stop.

Driver Escapes Burning Car on I-5 South MP222 Between Tangent and Halsey

The driver rolled to a stop and exited in time, soon the car was engulfed in flames.

(TANGENT, OR) - Car fire near Tangent Oregon 4-1-14 Local officials responded to a car Fire on I-5 south bound near MP222, this is between Tangent and Halsey. It happened Tuesday at 20:55 PM 4-01-14.

Only one car was involved, according to Dennis Weis, Firefighter/Photographer with the Tangent Fire Dept. One person who was the driver, got out in time after he pulled over the side of the Freeway, Weis explained.
