Osama bin Laden Hype Misled Public

“If what the government has told us about 9/11 is a lie,” said William Rodriguez, a fireman who survived the WTC attack, “somebody has to take action to reveal the truth.”

(BOSTON, Mass.) - Salem-News.com A National Public Radio rehashing of the 1999 Egypt Air crash made me uneasy. It seemed like an effort to indoctrinate listeners to believe that Muslims would commit suicide by deliberately crashing passenger jets. I wondered what was coming.

The sky was blue and deceptively cheerful in New Jersey a few weeks later on September 11, 2001, when I heard about the attack on the World Trade Center.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan As politicians frequently tout "success" in Iraq and we look back at Bush's 2004 victory speech aboard a Navy carrier, it seems beyond tragic that we have to list another long group of names and circumstances detailing the deaths of Americans in this nation.

While the casualty rate has surged in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense reports the death of five soldiers in a single incident in Mosul, Iraq.

Matt Lauer Lies: Somalia`s Pirates Aren`t Just `Criminals With Guns`

A surprising portrayal of pirates by a host of The Today Show helps spread ignorance about serious problems on the high seas.
Where in the world did Matt Lauer's brain go?

(SALEM, Ore.) - Pirates Americans have found it more important in recent years to care about pirates. You know, the ones played by actors like Johnny Depp. That's certainly more important to the Britney Spears generation than the real thing. Surely that 'pirate stuff' is just from old novels and Errol Flynn movies, right?

The recent overtaking of an American freighter by Somali pirates has brought the issue to the forefront but still media jackasses like Matt Lauer go on TV and say things like, "Hey let's get this straight, these aren't pirates, they're criminals with guns."

Nests in Hell

This article from the Pakistan Daily is your glimpse into how the world sees U.S. politics.

(ISLAMABAD) - U.S. soldiers in Iraq 'American Leadership is good for America and for the World'

So reads the introduction to the Project For The New American Century (PNAC), perhaps the most important document ever ignored by so many impacted millions—the neocon blueprint for American "full-spectrum domination" of the world. "Benign global hegemony" is their tender euphemism for it, and the hegemony business is not going as planned.

American leadership for America hasn't been so good, either.

Commonly accepted accounting principles show America bankrupt, our federal government's net worth at negative $60 trillion, roughly.
