(MELBOURNE) - After her failure to win the vote for the Sri Lankan government, Sri Lankan UN ambassador, Tamara Kunanayakam, was demoted from her UN position in Geneva UNHRC for failing to win the vote in favour of SL in March 2012.

Tamara is one of the few Sri Lankan ambassadors of Tamil origin.

(MELBOURNE) - After diluting two earlier UNHRC resolutions, India's Government said it was awaiting the final text of the resolution to be tabled on Sri Lanka at the UNHRC in order to decide its stand, if a vote is taken.

It won't be possible for India to dilute this resolution blatantly and nakedly, as they did in the earlier two resolutions.
