Oregon is a perfect 15-0 in the regional round in five seasons under head coach Mike White.

NBA: George Leads Pacers Past Heat; Force Game Six

Indiana trailed by nine points at half, but outscored Miami by 16 points in the third period.

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Pacers All Stat Paul George had 21 points in the fourth quarter to help the Indiana Pacers hold off the Miami Heat 93-90 and force a game six in the Eastern Conference Finals.

George ended the night with 37 points, six steals and six rebounds. His 21 fourth quarter points were the most scored against Miami in any playoff quarter.

Oregon Softball Trio Named All Americans

Courtney Ceo, Cheridan Hawkins and Janie Takeda were named All-Americans by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) - After helping the Ducks to their second straight Pac-12 title and a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA softball championships, Courtney Ceo, Cheridan Hawkins and Janie Takeda were named All-Americans by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, the group announced Wednesday in a press conference at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

Ceo and Hawkins were first team All-America selections while Takeda earned second team All-America honors. Each team - first, second and third - included three pitchers and a player at each position, in addition to five at-large choices.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Manchester United Owner Malcolm Glazer Dead at 85

Glazer served as a guiding force in the Buccaneers' rise as a respected NFL power following decades of team struggles.

(TAMPA BAY, Fla. ) - Malcolm Glazer, who purchased the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1995 and hoisted the team's first Super Bowl trophy eight years later, died Wednesday morning at the age of 85.

Glazer served as a guiding force in the Buccaneers' rise as a respected NFL power following decades of team struggles. In Glazer's time as owner, the team earned seven playoff berths, five playoff wins and the team's lone Super Bowl title in the 2002 season.

Oregon State Baseball Players Take Pac-12 Top Honors

The Beavers join Arizona State and Stanford as the only clubs to have both a Player and Pitcher of the Year in the same season.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State outfielder Michael Conforto and left-handed pitcher Jace Fry etched their names into the record books this season. On Wednesday, they were recognized by the Pac-12 Conference as two of the top players in the league this season.

Conforto was named the Pac-12’s Player of the Year for the second straight year and Fry was named the Pitcher of the Year, becoming the first Oregon State hurler to be honored since the then-Pac-10 Conference unified prior to the 1999 season.

NBA: Thunder Crush Spurs to Even Series

Oklahoma City had 21 fast break points -- 17 in the first half -- while San Antonio managed none.

(OKLAHOMA CITY) - Russell Westbrook was a one man show Tuesday night, as the Oklahoma City Thunder rolled over the San Antonio Spurs 105-92 to even the Western Conference finals at two games apiece.

Westbrook had 40 points, 10 assists and 5 steals, went 14-14 from the foul line, all in a night where Kevin Durant accepted the NBA’s MVP award.

Top Ranked Oregon Arrives in OKC; Ready to Face #8 Florida State

The Ducks are making their second WCWS trip in three years, after being eliminated in three games in 2012.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - At about 11:30 a.m., a bus carrying UO coach Mike White and his team pulled away from the Oregon athletics complex. The Ducks caught a charter flight out of Eugene an hour or so later, and landed in Oklahoma City for this week’s Women’s College World Series.

“You definitely want to enjoy it, but you also want to go out with a bang,” sophomore pitcher Cheridan Hawkins said. “Finding that balance is super important, and hopefully we’ll be able to do that.”

Western Oregon Hires Former NFL DT as New Defensive Line Coach

Kimo von Oelhoffen, a native of Kaunakakai, Hawaii, was drafted 162nd in the sixth round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - The Western Oregon University football team announced the hiring of Kimo von Oelhoffen as its new Defensive Line coach.

Von Oelhoffen brings 15 years of NFL playing experience to WOU. He was a member of the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers, which won Super Bowl XL. Von Oelhoffen, appeared in over 230 NFL games, starting in over 180. He was an alternate for the Pro Bowl during his career. He has played under notable names Dick Lebeau, Bill Cowher, Eric Mangini and Andy Reid.

Oregon Baseball Faces Clemson on Friday

Clemson (36-23) will face Oregon for the first time ever; the Tigers hit .276 and had a 3.69 team ERA in the regular season, while the Ducks hit .259 with a 3.03 ERA.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - The Ducks (42-18) found out Monday morning they will open the postseason Friday against Clemson (10 a.m. PT, ESPN3), in a regional hosted by Vanderbilt. Oregon qualified for Regionals for the third straight season, and the fourth time in five years.

"Yeah, we're limping a little bit, because we didn't get it done in the last series," UO coach George Horton said. "(But) even if we were 60-0, and the No. 1 seed like Oregon State is, everybody cleans the slate.
