Catherine “Sammie” Chergo (pronounced Cher-go), who was the head women’s golf coach at the University of Denver from 1998-2013 and qualified to the NCAA Tournament 11 times, will lead the Oregon State women’s golf program as head coach, OSU Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis announced Friday.
