(REDMOND, Ore.) - Preliminary investigation indicates a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 32-year old William Wayne Fix from Redmond, was traveling northbound in a reckless manner when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a rock embankment where it rolled and came to rest on its side.

Passenger 7-year old Phoenix Marie Price from Redmond, was pronounced deceased at the scene. She is reportedly the driver's stepdaughter.

(SALEM, Ore.) - On September 24, 2014 at approximately 7:50 a.m., a 2005 Ford Ranger pickup driven by 53-year old Michael Lippman, from SE Salem, was northbound in heavy rain conditions when it collided into the left side of a tanker trailer.

The pickup then crossed the raised grass center median into the southbound lanes where it collided head-on with a 1993 Nissan Sentra two-door with two occupants. The Nissan's driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Driver Dies Following Serious Injury Crash - Highway 99E south of Oregon City

(OREGON CITY, Ore.) - Three people were transported to a Portland-area hospital and one of the individuals died after arrival. All lanes were open about 6:00 p.m.

On September 22, 2014 at approximately 2:45 p.m., a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup with two occupants was southbound on Highway 99E at milepost 16 when the driver pulled over and stopped due to a problem with the pickup on a limited shoulder about 3 feet wide and partially in the right hand lane.

Fatality Following Bicycle vs Pickup Crash on Hwy 131

This accident took place between Netarts and Tillamook, on a road with no shoulders.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Friday afternoon's crash involving a bicyclist and pickup on Highway 131 between Netarts and Tillamook.

OSP was notified this morning that the bicyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash early Monday morning at a Portland-area hospital. An enforcement decision is pending.

4-Year Old Lincoln City Girl Dies After Being Diagnosed with E. Coli

(SALEM, Ore.) - Little Serena Profitt died Monday night at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland from an infection caused by a strain of E. coli. Serena was four years old.

Her five-year-old friend, Brad Sutton, from Washington is undergoing treatment Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Wash. where he was listed in critical condition early Tuesday evening.

Update On Springfield Police Officer-Involved Shooting In Linn County

Amanda Gatewood is listed in stable condition

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - The Linn County Major Crime Team is continuing to investigate the officer-involved shooting by a Springfield Police Officer on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at about 1:30 a.m. The shooting took place at the Jackson's Chevron station located at 33157 Highway 34 in Linn County following a vehicle pursuit.

The surveillance video shows the driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Amanda Lynn Gatewood, run towards the store entrance holding the replica handgun to her head. Amanda Gatewood is then seen pointing the replica handgun back at officers.
