According to the BBC news, Sajjad Masih was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of two hundred thousand rupees for sending blasphemous text messages to Muslim clerics to seek revenge from his ex-fiancée in Gojra.

Sajjad Masih, a resident of Pakpattan district, was arrested in December, 2011.

The police subsequently confirmed that she was either raped or sexually assaulted: “She had been raped or sexually assaulted and had suffered vaginal injuries, according to a Sri Lankan police report”.

Ms. Tkacheva waived her right to anonymity as a rape-victim because she wanted justice. Sadly, justice, in Rajapaksa Sri Lanka, is the ultimate oxymoron.

Directors of these groups, including author and retired therapist Judy Byington and Neil Brick, founder of Stop Mind Control and Ritual Abuse Today (SMART), have affiliated with the ITCCS.

Twelve Women Human Rights Defenders of `Maitree` in India Arbitrarily Arrested

The human rights defenders are concerned with the gang-rape and murder of a 20-year-old student in Kamduni.

(YORK, UK) - Members of Maitree demonstrating against gender violence in Bengal Twelve women human rights defenders were arrested on 13 June 2013 while assembled peacefully outside the residence of the Chief Minister of West Bengal. After being taken into custody, they were denied access to their lawyers.

Those arrested are all members of Maitree, a Kolkata-based network of women's human rights organisations which have a particular focus on violence against women and women's empowerment.

Sherwood High School Teacher Arrested for Sexual Relationship With Students

(SHERWOOD OR) - Denise Keesee, a former high school teacher, was arrested for having sexual relations with two male students. Monday, at about 5:00 p.m., 38-year-old Denise Keesee turned herself into the Washington County Jail.

She was charged with six counts of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree. Mrs. Keesee, a former teacher at Sherwood High School, is being charged for having sexual relationships with two of her former male students, while they were still attending the school.

Girls Soccer Coach Arrested for Sexual Abuse Involving 12-Year Old

The alleged victim in this case was an unrelated 12-year old player on a club team coached by the suspect.

(OREGON CITY) - Sex Abuse suspect Joseph Christopher Leonetti 43 year old Joseph Christopher Leonetti, a local club soccer coach in the Oregon City area, was arrested today on five counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.

A news release from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, relates Leonetti having a lengthy history of coaching girls soccer, including coaching the West Linn High School Girls' soccer team from 1997-2006.
